Race Numbers Each racer will receive a numbered bib; each bib is colored specifically for each race distance. The bib MUST BE WORN for the entire race, and if you want an accurate time make sure it s on the front (if its on the back, we can t record your time until AFTER you have crossed the finish line, not AS you cross it). And without it, a time will not be recorded for you. Timing will be manual, and will be made available online after the event. Safety pins will be provided, or you can use your own race belt. Starting Line and Waves It will be a wave start for the trail race, one wave for each distance. 50k at 7am, 16 mile at 9am, 8 mile at 10:30, 5k at 11:30. Please line up according to pace (faster in front, slower in back) out of courtesy for all participants. The staggered start times are intended to spread out the runners on the course, and to have the majority of the runners across all race distances be finishing around the same time. Finishers and spectators can also cheer on runners completing multiple laps as they run through the race venue. Aid Stations At each of the durtyfeets Trail Series races, participants will be able to choose from water or sports drink from Gatorade: Endurance formula at the aid station. Other snacks will also be available at the remote aid station; chips, pretzels, PB&J, candy, and similar items. For Goat Hill, there is one on- course aid station strategically placed at approximately halfway through each loop. Additionally, runners completing more than one loop can utilize the aid station at the bag- drop area at the main venue area before heading out for additional laps. There will be a designated bag- drop area right near the trail exit from the woods. Runners can leave their bag and any personal supplies here. Gatorde Endurance is specially formulated to rehydrate you and replenish those lost electrolytes, sodium and other nutrients on the course. 4 P age

Trail Run Course The course starts out with all runners going north along the west side of the canal from the field area. Runners will take two quick lefts at the end and head up the hill, also known as The Goat. And up. And up. And up a little more. About 200 ft elevation gain in ¼ mile to be a bit more specific; welcome to The GOAT! Once at the top of Goat Hill, 5k runners will then zig zag back and forth, down and around the trail called Billy Goat and finish with a decent on the trail called Down N Out. For all other runners (8 & 16 mi, 50k), once at the top of Goat Hill, runners meander down the north side of the hill to the remote Aid Station, at about the 3.5 mile mark of each lap. Leaving the Aid Station, Runners head up the trail called Reload, before veering right onto the trail Wind Up. Wind Up will test your mental endurance, as its about 2 miles long; just when you think you re ready to summit again, you ll dive back down for another series of switch- backs. Once you re back up top and at Goat Hill, you ll pick up Billy Goat (see 5k course above) and bomb down this trail as well as Down N Out before dropping back into the venue. At the venue, lap runners can refuel at the aid station and pick up any personal supplies at the designated bag- drop area. Then take a lap around the field to get to the Finish Line or to start your next lap. Race signs (green arrows on white paper, plus W for Wrong Way), landscape flags, tape, and volunteers will be out on the course to ensure you are heading in the correct direction and for your safety. Please say Thanks! to them when you pass by or let them know if you have any problems. 5 P age
