Located close to the Formula One Race Track, guests will especially enjoy the thousand-year-old historic centre of Cadiz, just 15 minutes away. Jerez Airport is 14 km from the hotel. Golf de Montecastillo The Montecastillo Golf Resort, situated in Cadiz (Spain) nearby Jerez de la Frontera next to the Formula 1 Grand Prix track, opened in 1992. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Montecastillo Golf is a beautiful, reasonably undulated, course with artistically placed lakes and spectacular elevated tee boxes surrounded by rolling hills. The finishing 3 holes of this golf course guarantee thrilling moments. Especially the 18th par 4 is brilliant. The tee box is situated on top of a hill. 40 metres lower, the fairway curves around a lake which is guarding the green. Montecastillo Golf hosted the 1994 and 1996 Turespaña Masters Open and has been the venue for the always exciting final of the European PGA tour, The Volvo Masters, from 1997 till 2001.
Valderrama Golf Club Officially voted Europe s No. 1 golf course Valderrama was home to the VOLVO MASTERS and has been designated host to the 1997 RYDER CUP. Designed by Robert Trent Jones and lovingly tended by owner Jaime Ortiz Patiño this is one of the continents toughest challenges. You may return home shell-shocked but should be content with the thought that you are one of the few able to boast: 'Valderrama? yes, ve played there'. The 4th hole a par five of spectacular beauty ends on a raised green by the side of which plunges a cascade of water on its way to the greenside lake. With recent improvements to the layout, especially a Cup captain Seve Ballesteros, Valderrama is in prime condition and Mr. Patiño only aims to make it better: the 'Augusta of Europe'. Royal Golf Club Sevilla Designed by excellent 1999 US Masters Champion, José María Olazábal, and opened in 1992, Real Club de Golf Sevilla is located nearby Seville in Spain. The golf course is mainly flat with wide fairways, large greens and four strategically placed lakes. The course houses plenty of trees providing welcome protection against the heat. Especially the spectacular par three 3rd of real Club de Golf Sevilla is beautiful with the green completely surrounded by water.
Arcos gardens Golf Club Arcos Gardens Golf is versatile enough to challenge top level amateur and professional players yet also user-friendly enough to accommodate daily member play. It does not have to rely on long rough to meet the challenge of tournament play. By strategically locating tees and hazards the course has wide, forgiving fairways yet still manages to place a premium on accuracy. Greens are of medium size with moderate, but not severe contour. The course contains a mix of bunkers creating a variety of challenges for players of differing driving distances. Golf Novo Sancti Petri The Golf Novo Sancti Petri golf course offer 36 holes which are divided into two rounds of 18 holes. In one round the fairways are bordered by pines trees, whereas on other one is grazing on magnificent looks over Atlantic Ocean. Various water hazards, the abundant vegatation, bunkers as well as ocean breeze makes playing more difficult. The course is interesting for players of all levels. Both rounds of 18 holes have Par 72. It was Severiano Ballesteros who designed this magnificent course with its two main features being its size and the views of the sea and the beach at Cádiz.
