RefTown Login Instructions www.reftown.com To Athletic Directors, Coaches, Athletic Secretaries and Officials: The Tacoma-Pierce County Volleyball Officials Board is going to be using a new Assigning System and we would like you to log into the system. Right now this system is under the name of the Tacoma-Pierce County Volleyball Officials Board (TPCVOB in the menu far right column). Simply follow the instructions below. Once your matches have been posted by us, you will be notified and asked to go into the system to verify their accuracy as to date, time, opponent and location. Please be aware that right now the system will only accept ONE account per school however it will accept up to three email addresses. The Athletic Director should log in first and include their name, address, home, work, fax, and cell numbers and their email address as the first email address. The coach should then use the AD s same login name and password and enter their email address as the second email address and should post their cell number under the pager location. Athletic Secretaries should then log in and post their email address as the third email address. Eventually each of you will be able to set up your own account but for now this is the method you will need to use. For Athletic Directors, Coaches, & Athletic Secretaries: 1. The name of your Athletic Director and their school email address has already been entered. Use this to retrieve your username and password as described below. 2. Once you receive your password via email (within minutes) use it to log in to REFTOWN. 3. Click My Account in the upper right-hand corner and that is where you will fill in the required information including phone numbers etc. For New Officials: 1. Go to www.reftown.com. 2. Click TPCVOB. 3. Under the Public menu, select Registration. 4. Fill out the form and it will immediately email me that someone has filled out a registration form. And that a Potential Member is waiting to be added. 5. You will be notified via email once you are added and then you will have full access to the system. For Returning Officials: 1. Go to www.reftown.com. 2. Click TPCVOB. 3. Log in with your previous User name and password. 4. Follow the same procedures as indicated above. General Instructions o Each association/sport is fully independent. You may choose to set your passwords and usernames the same in more than one association but you must make the change in each. There is no automatic linking of accounts in different associations. To get a username and password: 1. Go to www.reftown.com 2. Click Login (In top right corner) 3. Click First Time on RefTown (on the right) 4. Enter your email address 5. Click Send My Password. A username and password will be sent to you if the email address is listed on the roster of any association using RefTown. To login: 1. Go to www.reftown.com 2. Click Login (In top right corner) 3. Select the association (TPCVOB etc.) 4. Enter your username (email address by default but can be changed) 5. Enter your password 6. Click the Login button. To change your password:

1. Two ways to get there. a. Go to the login screen (while logged out) b. Or Go to My Account (in top right of screen) 2. Click Change My Password 3. Enter the association, username/email and old password as in #3, 4, and 5 above. 4. Enter the new password in both new password boxes. To see your games while logged in: 1. Select Games (or Matches for some sports) in the Schedules menu. a. This defaults to your games b. You can use the Search for Games to narrow the list of games to only JV, Varsity, etc. You can also use the Search for Games to see other games serviced by this association. c. To take the WIAA Exam on-line please follow these steps. 1. Go to www.wiaa.com 2. Scroll down to WIAA Affiliates section in the left-hand margin and click on the third selection called: Officials Association 3. Select On-Line Forms/Texts in the left-hand column near the bottom. 4. Click on Take National Federation test online in the green box at the top. 5. Type in the Board password, which is south63. 6. Choose Select Name and scroll down to your name to bring up the exam and begin. Your exam must be completed by September 10 at the latest.
