Now that we ve finally made it to Texas, we re going to show you a little of almost everything that this great big state has to offer! Austin isn t just the capital of both Texas and live music, it is just one of the many parts of Central Texas that we call The Hill Country. There s so much to show you in such little time! Hopefully many of you will be able to come in early enough to enjoy some of our off-site activities. Receptions
If you ve never been to Austin, or you have but you ve never been to Sixth Street, get here EARLY on Saturday and we ll take you there! Saturday April 13th 5:00p 10:15p $115pp - Maximum 60 guests Our tour begins at 5pm so we can get some food in you before your adventure begins. In downtown Austin, The Picnic is the most popular place in town, and we want to get there before the crowds do. The Picnic is a large and well-known Food Truck Park of about a dozen eateries, where each passenger will get $15 cash to spend on the food truck cuisine of their choice. We ll then re-board the shuttles and head for Pub Crawler headquarters where four (4) 15-passenger Super Bikes will be waiting for us! With 4 bikes on the move, that s a total of 60 AIWD peddlers! Your guides will navigate riders past the Texas State Capital before heading down the Congress Avenue Historical District. Last turn is onto Sixth Street, where you will learn why Austin is called the Live Music Capital of the World, and we ll even make two stops for guests to hop off the bike and go into some popular clubs. Each Austin Pub Crawler comes with a cooler on board filled with beer, wine and sodas and each has audio speakers that can connect to a smart phone for music on the go. Your adventure ends when our caravan of Pub Crawlers rolls back into headquarters, where guests will catch the shuttle back to the hotel. If you ve never really seen Austin before, you just need to do it Pub Crawler style!

We ll be taking our Texas time as we tour the vineyards and sip on a few varieties of wine before heading over next to one of our local distilleries. We ll do a little taste testing of some Texas gin, vodka and bourbon, there! Not too much, mind you because we need to get some good Texas BBQ in your stomach before we head on down to our next stop! We re treating our guests to an amazing lunch at none other than Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood. Our day starts by taking you to the quaint, historic small Texas town of Lockhart. Time seems to stand still here, and what better way to start your shopping than at a Vintage Boot Shop. Made for Walkin is where real Hill Country folks shop for a great pair of comfortable western boots because they re ready to wear without suffering for weeks to break them in! For those of you who have never owned a pair of quality cowboy boots, you might be shell-shocked to learn how much a decent NEW pair of western boots actually costs ($200 is usually bargain-basement sale price). This shop is closing to the public while our AIWD guests are here. Enjoy coffee, breakfast treats and live music for your PRIVATE shopping event. You ll find dozens of vintage boots in every color, style and size possible. When in Texas, you gotta be Texan, so we are making it possible for everyone to go home with a pair of boots by handing each person on this tour a $100 Boot Voucher toward your purchase! Wear your new old boots Tuesday night! Made 4 Walkin Each group spends one hour in each shop, then they switch. When shopping is done, your third and final stop in downtown Lockhart will be at The Culinary Room. We know AIWD folks are true foodies, and that s why we picked this place! Guests will enjoy a delicious Gourmet Finger Food Brunch, beautifully created and displayed on wooden serving boards designed to look more like pieces of art rather than something you actually eat. Graze til you burst on Artisan breads, cheeses and meats, vegetables, spreads, dips and sweet delights partnered with wine or beverage of your choice. It s the perfect end to your very special Lockhart shopping day. Texas Hatters While half of you are shopping for boots, the other half will be picking out a custom-fit hat from a master. It s a 100-year old establishment that has made custom hats for endless celebrities, entertainers and politicians from John Wayne to the Prince of Wales. Yep, right here in Lockhart! Texas Hatters operates out of a little turn-of-the-century, woodframed house that s so small, no more than 12 people can fit into it at one time! Small in size but a giant in fame. Men and women come from all over the world to get a custom-fitted hat from the Grammage family, although Austin locals Tommy Lee Jones, Chuck Norris and Willie Nelson don t have to travel far. Have we name-dropped Tom Selleck, Stevie Ray Vaughan or Penelope Cruz yet? And if it s good enough for them, it s good enough for our AIWD Guests! Then when your hat is done, just hand them the second $100 Voucher we ve given you! Culinary Room Monday, April 15 th Departure: 9:30am Return: 2:00pm $250pp Maximum 24 guests

Trail Ride and Vintage Chuckwagon Lunch! Maverick Horse Ranch This is not your usual family-vacay, dude-ranch-lazy-horse walk experience. Not by a long-shot. Even if you are not into riding a horse, that s OK. Come anyway because we ve got something for everyone. We leave very early in the morning so we can get to the ranch at sunrise to experience the calling in the horses, where you will marvel at a herd of horses running toward you at the ranch. They tell us it is even more spectacular when horses burst through early morning fog. TRAIL RIDE Guests spend time going through a meet and greet with the horses. After a bit of getting to know each other, your Maverick professionals will teach you a little horse yoga along with basic skills for riding before they choose which horse will be your perfect partner. No matter your age or your physical challenge, if you want to ride, you will. And you will be surprised at how well you do it! Once riders are mounted and ready to go, you begin your trail ride, where you may walk softly through the bluebonnet meadows, or even cross over a stream (as you imagine yourself in a scene from Lonesome Dove!). The roll of the land at the ranch is beautiful. Be sure to bring your camera as you ll want to take many pictures! COUNTRY WESTERN DANCE Don t leave Texas without saying you know how to do the Texas Two-Step! Back at the ranch, guests will also have a round of dance lessons from local cowboys (for the gals) and cowgirls for the guys. Remember, we ve got a big party on Tuesday night where you re likely to have the chance to show off your new moves! Authentic CHUCKWAGON LUNCH Specially prepared for AIWD Guests by Eddie and Margaret Eppler of Eppler Cattle Co. Navasota, TX Tuesday April 16 Depart 6:15a Return 2:00p $250pp Maximum 24 Guests
