The lone goal allowed in the match came on a penalty kick, the first allowed by TCU since Sept. 21, 2014 when North Texas failed to convert. The Horned Frogs rebounded with their third overtime win of the season a 1-0 win over SMU. TCU is now 3-0-1 in four overtime games this season. Allison Ganter s fifth goal of the season was the game winner in double overtime against the Mustangs. She is tied with Michelle Prokof and Faith Carter for the team lead in goals. Katie Lund ranks ninth nationally in goals against average (.352) and third nationally in save percentage (.931). Both marks are tops in the league. Emma Heckendorn s eight assists are also tied for third nationally. Lauren Sajewich continues to lead the team in time on the field having played every minute of every match this season. KANSAS NOTABLES Kansas is coming off a 2-1 victory over No. 25 Texas Tech in its Big 12 opener last Friday night. The Jayhawks have faced three straight ranked foes, posting a 1-1-1 record in those matches. Kansas is just 1-2-2 away from home this season. Grace Hagan paces the team offensively with five goals and three assists. In goal, Maddie Dobyns has appeared in nine of the team s 11 games. Dobyns has allowed seven goals on 19 shots and boasts a 0.78 GAA. TCU-KANSAS SERIES NOTABLES Kansas and TCU will be meeting for the fifth time in program history. All five meetings have come since TCU joined the Big 12 in 2012. Kansas holds a 2-1-1 advantage in the all-time series. TCU is 0-2 against Kansas in Fort Worth and 1-0-1 in Lawrence. TCU s lone win was a 1-0 victory in Lawrence in 2013. Two of the four meetings have gone to overtime. Last season, the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Lawrence. McKenzie Oliver scored TCU s lone goal in the match. ATHLETICS COMMUNICATIONS Contact:...Brandie Davidson, Assistant Director Office:... (817) 257-5378 Cell:... The Frogs used a trio of overtime victories en route to the eight victories. The eight non-conference victories is second only to the 2008 squad for the most in program history. That team went 9-1-1 in non-conference play. OVERTIME QUEENS TCU is one of 41 programs in the nation to have had four games go to overtime this season. Out of that group of 41, TCU is one of just 10 programs to have not been defeated in the extra sessions. The Frogs are 3-0-1 this season in overtime, tying Eastern Washington, Missouri and St. Joseph s for the national lead for overtime victories. TCU s three overtime victories are tied for the most in a single season with the 2001 squad that went 3-1-0 in four overtime games. A HELPING HAND Just 10 games into the season, Emma Heckendorn has already claimed a school record. She picked up a pair of assists in the win over Austin Peay to give her eight on the year, tying a school record held by Libby Tappan (1988) and Carolina Starns (2005). Her stellar start has helped her catapult up the career charts. She is tied with Makenzie Koch for third with 15 career assists. With four more assists, she will own the career mark. SPREADING THE WEALTH On Friday against Austin Peay, McKenzie Oliver joined the group of goal-scorers with her first of the season. Nine Horned Frogs have contributed to TCU s 25 goals. Michelle Prokof, Allison Ganter and Faith Carter lead the way with five each followed by Kayla Hill who has four. Emma Heckendorn (two) is the only other Frog with multiple goals this season. In total, 12 Horned Frogs have registered a point this season. Cachet Lue was the latest to register a point, assisting on Ganter s game-winning goal Sunday. GOLDEN TOUCH Allison Ganter s game-winning overtime goal on Sunday moved her into a tie for the team lead in goals with five. Ganter has started three games this season, but all five of her goals have come as a sub. IRON WOMAN Since her arrival on campus, Lauren Sajewich has been a staple on the field. Through 10 matches, she is the lone Frog to have played every minute of the season. Over the course of her career, Sajewich has played the entirety of 62 out of 67 games. She has left the field for a total of 53 minutes over the last three-plus seasons. TWO-HEADED MONSTER TCU has employed the a two goalkeeper system through each of its 10 matches this season. Courtney Hofer has started all 10 games, playing the first half of each match. Katie Lund has replaced Hofer in the second half of all the matches. Hofer has allowed just three goals on the year. She s faced just 40 shots, only 15 of which have been on goal. Lund has been the busiest of the keepers facing a total of 71 shots in 511:26 minutes of work. She has allowed just two goals on 29 shots on goal. FRESH FACES In the first five matches, TCU had seven athletes make their collegiate debuts. Cachet Lue, Tara Smith, Sloane Scharold, Katie Lund and Sarah Riley made their collegiate debuts on opening weekend. Sarah Birkner and Haley Vice made their first collegiate appearances in Sunday s win at Lamar. EXTRA, EXTRA TCU ended the 2015 campaign with four straight OT contests. TCU made it six straight overtime games after reaching the extra session in each of the first two games of the 2016 year. Against SMU, TCU played in its fourth OT game of the year, ending with a 1-0 victory. Under the guidance of Eric Bell, the Horned Frogs are 5-4-15 in overtime. In its history, TCU has a 29-21-46 record in contests decided in overtime.

Bell is just the third women s soccer coach in TCU history. For the fourth time in four years under Bell, TCU qualified for the Big 12 Tournament. The Horned Frogs raced out to an 8-4 record and closed the season with a school-record four consecutive ties to post an overall 8-7-4 record, including a 2-3-3 mark in Big 12 play. The team posted the fourth-lowest GAA at 1.06, while posting the fifth-highest points total (97) in program history. At the conclusion of the regular season, TCU had a trio of representatives named all-conference. Bobbi Clemmer became the first Horned Frog since Jordan Calhoun to be a two-time first-team all-conference performer. Additionally, Michelle Prokof and Emma Heckendorn were named secondteam all-conference. The 2014 season showed more signs of growth as the Horned Frogs vaulted to a 7-3 record and an RPI ranking in the top 50. TCU ultimately earned its third straight berth in the Big 12 Championships. Junior Bobbi Clemmer continued to earn respect from the Big 12 community, earning second-team all-conference accolades. Newcomer Ryan Williams, switching to a different position for the first time in her career, also blossomed under the coaching staff s tutelage. She was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer squad for her efforts in helping TCU post six shutouts and a 0.96 goals against average. A talented influx of freshman in the fall of 2013 has set the stage for big things to come. Freshman Michelle Prokof paced the team offensively en route to earning second-team all-conference accolades. Sophomore Bobbi Clemmer earned first-team all-conference accolades. TCU again qualified for the Big 12 Tournament, improving its seeding as the Frogs finished seventh in the standings with two conference wins. In his first season on campus, Bell and company gave Frog fans a glimpse of things to come. His immediate impact was felt on the defensive side of the ball as the Horned Frogs tied the school record with eight shutouts. Freshman defender Bobbi Clemmer earned a spot on the Big 12 All-Newcomer team, playing every minute of the season up until an injury in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championship Tournament in San Antonio. He had the Frogs playing their best soccer at the right time as they blazed a trail to the championship game of the Big 12 Championship Tournament. Qualifying as the eighth-seed in the tourney, Bell s squad upended the Big 12 Conference champions, West Virginia, by a 2-0 score. In the semifinals, it took penalty kicks to decide the team to advance as TCU and Texas battled to a 0-0 score after two overtimes. The defensive star of the tournament, Vittoria ArnoldClick here to hear it, outdueled the Texas goalkeeper and the Frogs advanced to the championship game against Baylor. Prior to coming to TCU, Bell spent the previous six seasons with the Seminoles. After arriving as an assistant coach in 2006, he was promoted to associate head coach in 2008. Bell was Florida State s recruiting coordinator his entire tenure in Tallahassee.
