Did you know, a day on the course can help keep families together? For 15 years, the participants of the RMHCC Golf Classic have provided a home away from home for over 12,000 families from the Upstate, our surrounding states and beyond our country s borders. Thanks to supporters like you, 590 nights were provided through the tournament to keep families with critically ill or injured children close to each other and the care and resources they need right here in our community in 2018. 15 th Annual RMHCC Golf Tournament Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Larkin s on the River in the Shirley Roe Cabaret Room, we will kick off the tournament with a VIP Pairings Party featuring heavy hors d oeuvres provided by Larkin s Catering, drinks, a fabulous silent auction with one-of-a-kind packages and more. The Shirley Roe Cabaret Room is located in the oldest commercial building in Greenville County with exposed wooden beams, brick walls, and views of the Reedy River. This pre-tournament party is an opportunity for registered golfers and guest to mingle and network the night before the tournament. Wednesday, April 10, 2019, golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf on one of the Upstate s most beautiful courses, The Cliffs at Mountain Park named Best New Course of 2013 by GOLF Magazine. The Cliffs at Mountain Park is also ranked on Golfweek s Top 200 Residential Golf Courses for 2019 and currently holds the #40 position. This is the second year in our tournament s history we have featured this exclusive Gary Player Signature Course. Breakfast and coffee precede a shotgun start at 10:00 am with a Captain s Choice style tournament. Lunch will be served on the course while players are flighted for the last nine holes. RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF THE CAROLINAS Founded in 1989, the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville is a home to critically ill or injured children and their families, providing hope, encouragement and comfort when they need it the most. At any time of day or night, families come to the Ronald McDonald House in search of a place to stay within steps of their child receiving critical medical treatment. We fulfill this need along with meals, transportation and compassionate support- all the comforts of a home. On June 21, 2018, we opened the doors to a 17,500 sq. foot expansion of our Ronald McDonald House. This expansion added an additional 12 guest bedrooms, an expanded guest check-in area, a spacious great room, an updated kitchen and more laundry facilities. With this expansion, RMHC of the Carolinas is now able to serve 24 total families at a time and we are able to adequately meet the needs of hundreds of more families in our community as they find hope and support. More rooms lead to more families being served, which means we need your help to keep the doors open. You can do so by participating in the 15 th Annual RMHCC Golf Classic! All proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Greenville and the hundreds of families served each year while their children receive medical treatment at a nearby healthcare facility.
