All cars are to be effectively muffled to a maximum of 95DBA. Any car deemed to be exceeding this limit will be Black Flagged from that race, and if not rectified before next race will be excluded from the event. PIT ENTRY FEE TRACK ADMISSION PRICES ENGINE STARTS RACECEIVERS TRANSPONDERS LAP SCORING NUMBER Drivers Free, $5 per person per night for Speedway Australia License Holders, non Speedway Australia license holders $15 per night. No persons under the age of 16yrs are allowed in the Pits unless they have a Speedway Australia Junior Mechanic Licence, be 14yrs or older and be signed on as Pit Crew for a nominated car. Thursday- no charge Friday/Saturday Adult $25 Concession $20 Child $10 Family $60 Pit entry is paid separately at the pit gate All Drivers MUST have on race suit & helmet for Engine Starts One way communication is mandatory. Transponders will be used, with manual back up.if you do not own a transponder these will be for hire at the Event; cost $40. If you loose it or break it you will have to pay for replacement. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR LAP SCORING NUMBER IS AS PER RULE BOOK, Number must be clearly visible and easily read. Lap Scoring number to be positioned on the upper rear most corner of the aerofoil on the inside of the left hand panel White number on solid black background, (No State Initials, No fancy Numbers) SPONSORS DECAL CONTROL; ` You will be required to place a sponsor s decal on the top wing left hand sideboard facing the infield, allow 150mm from the bottom up. TOW MONEY; HEAT POINTS FINAL; B MAIN; C MAIN RESERVES; Nil 1 st.25 2nd.20 3rd..17 4th..12 5th..10 6th...8 7th...6 8th...5 9th 4 10th...3 11th.2 12th....1 Top point scorers in the heats to 16 th place to go into Final. The highest point scorer in the Championship heats, shall be allocated the pole Position on the grid in the Finals, In the event of tied points the positions of any cars tied on points will be determined by their fastest lap times in the heats. If 16 th position is tied, all those on that number of points will go into the Final. Maximum of 20 cars (allowing for the 1st four (4) place getters from the C Main to go ROF, (if a C Main is run). Maximum of 20 cars the first four (4) place getters transfer to the B Main (ROF) ( this will be run if enough cars warrant it and the promoter is agreeable) If 21 cars or more start the Final, no reserves will be used. If less than 21 cars start the Final reserves may be used. (they would be 5 th & 6 th Place from the B Main The only exception would be if the defending Champion did not qualify, he/she would take his/her place at the rear of the field in position 21 LAPS: FINAL; 25 Laps HEATS; 10 Laps B & C Main; Number of cars plus 3 laps to a max of 15 laps GRID POSITIONS; ENGINES; If a car is missing prior to the meeting commencing, the Grid Positions will be adjusted forward numerically. If a car cannot take its position after the meeting commences or the creation of a grid draw (whichever occurs later), the race draw will not be changed. Instead, all cars in the row behind the vacant position will move directly forward until gaps are filled. The first five place getters must present their cars for impounding immediately at completion of Final, Engine measuring will be done on first three place getters.(see Rule. 229 (a)
FUEL TESTING FIRE EXTINGUISHERS 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd place getters in the A Main will have Fuel samples taken for testing. Also random samples may be taken at any time. Every trailer/transporter must have a Fire Extinguisher that meets the Speedway Australia requirements, 2.0kg Dry Chemical Powder Extinguisher or greater. Prize money will be paid within 14 days and after Confirmation of winners. TROPHIES; PIT ACCOMODATION; AMBULANCE SERVICES; FUEL/TIRES: Trophies for 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd,4 th place in Final Sashes for 1 st, 2nd, 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th place in finals. Mementos to all other finalists. Pit area is fully fenced and under direction of Track Officials. It is moderately lit and is serviced by its own kiosk, has temporary showers and toilets. Competitors can also view racing clearly from the pits. For those wishing to leave their Trailers at the track overnight, track officials will be in attendance during the night. Crews will be allowed in early to work on cars. Appropriate Clothing and SHOES must be worn in Pits. PUSH QUAD RIDERS MUST WEAR A HELMET AND NOT EXCEED WALKING PACE. PLEASE REMEMBER THE DRESS CODE FOR THE PITS; is as follows; long trousers/shorts below the knees/polo or t-shirt/ closed in shoes NO THONGS/ SANDALS etc. Tasmanian Ambulance Services.
