Calendar & Prices 2011 Major Car Events DTM DTM s flame-spitting Audi and Mercedes machinery provide some of the most enthralling action to grace the Indy circuit, featuring nose-totail battles and impressively quick pit stops. The addition of ex-f1 driver David Coulthard to the grid attracted a bumper crowd in 2010, and once again in 2011 has the honour of hosting the championship s sole UK outing. British Touring Car Championship The BTCC is Britain s most popular domestic car championship, with huge crowds enjoying the series trademark fierce rivalries and panel-bashing manoeuvres. A record breaking 42,000 fans watched Chevrolet s Jason Plato clinch the title at in 2010 and the BTCC will visit the Kent circuit twice in 2011, along with outings at and the new Snetterton 300 circuit. The championship will make three appearances at in 2011, including two outings on the Grand Prix circuit, along with events at Cadwell Park, and the Snetterton 300 configuration. Car & Bike Club Meetings All other car and bike meetings As well as a programme of promoted events, MSV will host a packed schedule of more than 80 bike and car club meetings across all four circuits in 2011. Fans of two and four wheeled action can enjoy up to 25 races during each weekend, along with the friendly atmosphere and close ontrack duels that are a hallmark of grass roots motorsport.
