James was formally the Head Golf Professional at Pinewood Country Club for 33 years. He has been named Golf Professional Emeritus for life at Pinewood. James was named the Junior Promoter of the Year for the Louisiana P.G.A. in 1988. He has been ranked as one of the top 50 Junior Golf Instructors in the U.S. by U.S. Kids Golf. James has been the featured speaker at over 100 P.G.A. Educational Conferences for Golf Professionals all over the world including, Madrid Spain, Copenhagen Denmark, Helsinki Finland, Sweden, Ireland, St. Andrews Scotland, London England, Zurich Switzerland, Gold Coast of Australia, and Albert Canada. James was a 3 time featured speaker at the M.I.T. Better Golf Through Technology Conference. James is known worldwide as the Teachers Teacher.
