TREMALZO BIKE SCOTT 2018 REGULATIONS 1-ORGANIZATION: TREMALZO BIKE is organised by the Amateur Multi-sport Association PROSPORT TREMOSINE, in collaboration with associations, supporters, volunteers and sponsors. 2-REGULATORY FRAMEWORK: TREMALZO BIKE will take place in observance of the herein regulations and the event s official programme. Any variation to these regulations will be at the discretion of the race committee. For any matter not considered in these regulations, the contents of the F.C.I. 2018 implementing regulations for the off-road section will be applied. 3-DATE and PLACE of EVENT: TREMALZO BIKE will be held on SUNDAY 07 OCTOBER 2018 in Vesio di Tremosine sul Garda. 4-START: At 10.00 from Vesio di Tremosine 5-ROUTE TREMALZO BIKE XCP will run inside the Alto Garda Bresciano PARK for a total of 51 km, including 2,300 metres of differences in altitude; start and finish in Vesio di Tremosine, travelling through the Tremalzo pass and on Mount Zenone. An exceptionally panoramic route. The use of electric or assisted pedalling bicycles is not permitted. It is also compulsory to carry with you a valid document during the whole race. 6-PARTICIPATION Members of the F.C.I. and members of any other promotion body belonging to the Consulta Nazionale del Ciclismo can take part, as set out in the F.C.I. s implementing regulations for the Off- Road Sector. Athletes who are not members of any sports association may also take part, on producing a valid competitive medical certificate for cycling/mountain biking. A daily F.C.I. Membership card will be issued to these athletes, on paying a supplement that is the same as the cost of a daily membership, i.e. 15.00. Wearing an approved helmet is mandatory for all competitors. The Organizing Committee may decided whether or not to accept a registration or exclude a registered competitor from the event at any time and at its own discretion, in the event said competitor could damage the event s image. Registrations will not be accepted from participants who are currently banned due to 1
doping during the registration period for the event. Cyclists who are not correctly registered cannot join the groups, otherwise they will be removed from the race. In the event of an accident, they will be reported as per the law. The categories mentioned in point 7 may take part in the race. 7-PERMITTED CATEGORIES Race Categories: Open (Elite M/F and Under 23 M/F), Junior, EliteSport, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, MW (SW+MW1), MW2 (for authorised bodies, the categories that correspond to the age groups). Participation in TREMALZO BIKE 2016 for non-members (adults, of both genders) is only permitted after a daily membership has been issued, and only further to submitting a valid competitive sport medical certificate for cycling/mountain biking. Daily membership must be requested from the organising committee during opening hours of the race administration office, at a cost of 15.00 Euro. 8-REGISTRATION Registration for TREMALZO BIKE 2018 opens on 01 May 2018. It is possible to register online at www.sms-sport.it, or by filling in the registration form that can be downloaded from the website www.tremalzobike.com For athletes belonging to FCI-affiliated companies, registration is mandatory, also via the factor k federal information system http://fci.ksport.kgroup.eu/fci/login.aspx (ID gara 147009). Payment must be made by bank transfer, stating Tremalzo Bike 2018 Registration as the reason, followed by the registered athlete s name. Bank account held in the name of: PRO SPORT TREMOSINE ASD BCC del Garda IBAN: IT58 T086 7655 3300 0000 0142 714 8-REGISTRATION for OVERSEAS PARTICIPANTS Overseas athletes must submit a health certificate for foreigners (Health Certificate) that can be downloaded from the website www.tremalzobike.com stamped and signed by the doctor. The athlete s registration cannot be accepted without this certificate. Registration will be completed on the day of the race when the daily membership card is issued. 2
9-REGISTRATION FEE The registration fee has been set at: - 30.00 from 01/05/2018 to 02/10/2018-40.00 from 03/10/2018 to 05/10/2018-50.00 on the day of the event It will also be possible to register on Saturday 06/10/2018 and Sunday 07/10/2018 during opening hours of the race administration office, at a cost of 50.00. Athletes belonging to competitive categories are exempt from paying the registration fee. F.C.I. Members must also register via factor k. In the event that an athlete who has registered for the 2018 edition of TREMALZO BIKE cannot then take part in the event, the registration fee will not be refunded and registration will not be deferred with validity for the 2019 edition. It is not possible to take the place of a registered participant. The registration fee includes: -RACE NUMBER: each competitor will receive an envelope containing a race number with ties for it to be attached to his handlebar. -RACE KIT: each competitor will receive a Race Kit containing technical products, characteristic produce and information (RACE KIT FOR THE FIRST 500 REGISTERED ATHLETES, INCLUDING MEMBERS OF ASSOCIATED CIRCUITS) -PASTA PARTY: Each competitor will receive a voucher for food to be eaten in the specific dedicated area: -REFRESHMENTS: There will be 3 refreshment points on the course and one at the finish. The refreshment points will be well supplied with drinks and food. - SHOWERS, CHANGING ROOMS AND BIKE WASHING: Showers, changing rooms and bike washes will be provided in the car park area. -CAR PARKS AND MOBILE HOMES: The car parking areas will be the ones indicated by road signs and also highlighted on the event s logistics posters. It is not permitted to park outside the marked areas. Mobile homes can only park in the specific areas marked out for specific mobile home parking. 3
-COURSE ROUTE MARKING: The course route will be marked out at the end of May with tables at crossroads. Full signs will be prepared in the week of the event, with marking of technical descents, refreshment points, GMP etc. -HEALTH AND SAFETY: During the race, the route will be manned by race staff at the most important points, connected by radio to the operations centre at the start-finish point. A health service will also be present and active on the route and in the starting area. -TEXT SERVICE: Participants who provide their own telephone number at the time of registration can receive information text messages. -FOR TEAMS: A team area will be available in the start-finish area. It will be possible to enter the team area on 30/09 from 15:00 to 19:00 hours, or on Sunday morning of 01/10 from 06:30 to 08:00 hours. The team area will be available until full. To book your own area, please send an email to info@tremalzobike.com, stating the size required. 10-STARTING ORDER The start is scheduled for 10.00 hours on 07/10/2018 from Vesio di Tremosine. The starting grid will be formed in the following order: Grid 1: competitive categories (Male Open, Female Open); Grid 2: reserved for the top 10 athletes from the Top Class XCM FCI ranking from the respective amateur male categories, amateur female categories, F.C.I. Title holders, VIP participants (invited by the organisation) and merit grid from associated circuits. Grid 3: Members of the COPPA LOMBARDIA MTB BRIXIA ADVENTURE MTB circuits Grid 4: Amateurs in order of registration Entry on the grid is only permitted in the 30 minutes prior to the starting time. 11-MAXIMUM TIME The following maximum time limits have been set: -Passo Nota: maximum time limit 11.40 -Localita Polzone: maximum time limit 13.40 4
Race numbers will be withdrawn from those not succeeding in passing the two planned gates within the set time limit. They may continue the route to the finish but will no longer be considered as participants in the race and no longer under the organization s responsibility. No exceptions will be made to this for any reason and in any case. 12-AWARDS The awards ceremony will be held at 15:30 in the Sala Polivalente in Vesio di Tremosine. Athletes will be awarded according to the classification drawn up at the end of the race, in the following ways and numbers: Absolute Classification Monetary vouchers Men 1ST 500 2ND 300 3RD 200 4TH 100 5TH 100 Women 1ST 300 2ND 200 3RD 100 4TH 50 5TH 50 The vouchers cannot be accumulated. 5
