Welcome Letter Welcome to the 2016 Iron Girl Pleasant Prairie event! This event is a favorite among the Iron Girl team. The calm protection of the fresh water swim in Lake Andrea, the one-loop bike course, and a run course that takes you around Lake Andrea makes this course ideal for seasoned athletes and novices alike. This year we are excited to be adding a Duathlon in addition to the Sprint Triathlon. It s our hope when more women see the passion within triathlon, the more they ll want to take the plunge! Being an Iron Girl is a lifestyle not a one-day activity! Please join us in making Iron Girl and triathlon part of your lifestyle! We would like to thank the Village of Pleasant Prairie, RecPlex, Kenosha Visitors Bureau, Village of Pleasant Prairie Police Department, Village of Pleasant Prairie Fire Department, Aurora Medical Center, and all our local help for their support to make this event a reality. In addition, we would like to thank the volunteers who give so much. Their effort and support helps each participant realize her dream. When you have a chance, please take a moment to thank the volunteers! Enjoy your time in Pleasant Prairie and good luck to you for a safe and successful race! Iron Girl Team
