Committee Corner Hopefully this week we can get through the night without the extreme heat, rain or a storm. The program on this week is week 1, so this includes the walks and 60m hurdles. Thank you to all the families that came last week, we were fortunate the temperature dropped. This month we would like to recognise our awesome Age Managers. Last week we didn t have all our Age Managers present due to the heat, so we would like acknowledge them this week with a small gift. We would just ask all athletes and parents to make sure you show your appreciation to your age manager, ask them if they need help and maybe give them a break and take on the challenge. If you haven t picked up your training voucher yet please see Nicole or Aggie this Friday Congratulations to the following athletes. Daniel Bugeja U6, Jayden Ogston U7, Olivia Pyda U8, Christopher Bugeja U9, Jamie Ayoub U9, Raven Pyda U10, Lachlan Martin U9, Andrew Strevens U11, Rebecca Brett U17. So far into the season the athletes combined have produced 1383 PB s. What a fantastic effort by everyone. We have a trophy award at the end of the year for the most PB s for 1 boy and 1 girl in the club. But we would just like to recognise the top 10 athletes of the club so far. The following athletes please see Nicole this Friday night. If you haven t picked up your voucher please do so this Friday night. Just a reminder there will be no competition Friday 12 th December but we still run the week after 19 th December. That night there will be a visit from Santa. That will be our last night until the 16/1/2015. We will also be having a Christmas Raffle drawn on the 19/12 that night. We have about 10 prizes on offer. We will start selling the tickets a few weeks before hand. If each family could take a book home to sell, and bring back on the 19 th December so we can draw the raffle at 7:00pm.

Results of State Relays Congratulations to all the athletes that competed over the weekend at the State Relays. The weather was quite warm and all the athletes should be very proud of themselves, whether or not they came in the top 8. For most athletes this was their first time to experience such a large crowd and at Sydney Olympic Park, so that would have been amazing feeling for them. The club is very proud of all your results, there is same great talent coming through our juniors, so well done to all. Thank you to all the parents that brought your children to training and over the weekend. Also thank you to all the parents that helped with the coaching, and organising the athletes. A special thanks to Aggie who was the team manager on Saturday, who not only had her own 2 children competing, but also had to run around and make sure all teams were filled.
