1. Rules ARTICLE 1 Kreischberg/Murau is organizing an international competition, FIS Snowboard Slopestyle World Cup. ARTICLE 2 This competition, for both women and men, will be held under FIS rules. At the FIS Snowboard World Cup all national FIS-affiliated associations are invited to compete. ARTICLE 3 According to the international calendar of the FIS, the competition will take place January 9 th 12 th, and will follow the official program. ARTICLE 4 The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the timetable and the arranged place of the event depending on the snow conditions or on the decision of the jury. 2. General Information 1. Entries Entries will be accepted from National Ski Associations in accordance with the FIS rules for the FIS Snowboard World Cup. Please use the online registration: http://www.fis-ski.com/ under the member section. Deadline for entries: December 2 nd, 2018 is the deadline for the provisional entries January 1 st, is the deadline for the definitive registration The final entry of the competitors with their names must be given by the Team coach to the competition secretary not later than two hours before the draw. 2. Registration Team registration will start Tuesday, 8 th of January, at the Race Office. You will find the Race Office in the Kreischberg Halle, close to the event area.
3. Accommodation/Fees Accommodation Fee: For accommodation/halfboard, each participant will pay CHF 80.-/day/person, in Euros directly to the tourist office Kreischberg. Administration Fee: Every athlete will be charged with CHF 30.- per official training, qualification and finals day (max. CHF 120.-) Accommodation at the FIS rate is provided only for the nights from Tuesday 8 th to Sunday 13 th, January. The full payment of accommodation of the team must be paid at the tourist office before registration. Each team will be held responsible for any damage incurred during your stay. The teams or athletes must pay any kind of extras. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In order to accommodate all competitors, coaches and other accompanying persons in a correct way we need your provisional entries before December 2 nd, 2018. For later preliminary team entries we cannot guarantee accommodation at FIS rate. Team sizes and name of members has to be confirmed latest January 1 st,. If a team has booked rooms in a hotel (with or without the help of the OC) and does not show up there, the rooms have to be paid nevertheless or the team won t be accredited to the competition. 4. Transportation Teams are responsible for their own transportation. Next airports: Graz 150 km, Salzburg 160 km, Vienna 250 km, Munich 320 km
5. Competition a. BIBS All competitors must wear bibs during official training, competition and award ceremonies. b. Accident Insurance Each competitor must have his/her own medical insurance. The Organizing Committee, sponsors, suppliers, their agents, the FIS and the Austrian Ski Association decline any responsibility for accidents, damaged or lost equipment and second and third party claims during the event. Each athlete has to wear a helmet during the competition and training. c. Liability All athletes, officials and members of the National Associations who attend and participate in the event shall do so at their own risk. The Organizing Committee, the Austrian Ski Association, sponsors and suppliers, their agents, employees and volunteers shall not be responsible for any losses or injuries incurred or suffered by any athlete, official or other person in conjunction with the organizing or staging of the event. d. Prize Money Prize money will only paid via bank transfer. Each athlete must be ready to provide all bank details. 6.
