What is an active timing chip? Instead of a passive chip which requires mats, we use active chips, this means instead of mats you will see large yellow transponder cases at timing points. Active chips have a lower failure rate. TECHNICAL SUPPORT Competitors are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure that their bike is in a road worthy condition. Be prepared! Take spare inner tubes and a cycle pump and wear correct clothing for the conditions.
