The name stuck. } Collins claims both Memphis and Nashville as his hometown, as he was born in one, and raised in the other. SEASONED } The Tigers have seven players with experience on the Division I level. In his first season as head coach of the TSU men s basketball program, Collins introduced one true freshman in Monty Johal, three junior-college transfers and two transfers who are ineligible to compete this season due to NCAA rules. } Nine Tigers have postseason experience as the Tigers have gone to the conference tournament for the last three years, and Ole Miss (Fitzpatrick-Dorsey) and La Tech (Washington) have received invites to the NIT.
