Information Sheet, Finding Curtin University Stadium. Location Curtin University Stadium can be found at building B11 Curtin University, Kent St, Bentley. The maps below will help you with location.
Parents Attending Parents are required to come along and support the teams. The competition usually runs as a series of heats, which means that we can't be sure until registration exactly when each team will compete, but there's plenty to see. The students are usually very busy for the majority of the competition and appreciate your support. After heats on the Friday, Saturday is usually reserved for the top teams to compete in finals. I would recommend you make sure your calendar is free for this, as the finals are a fantastic spectacle, I'm sure you will want to support any team that St Brigid's has competing! Parking There is parking available near the stadium in carpark A3, but beware, visitors parking is limited and usually fills up quite quickly. As the competition runs on a weekday it is very likely that there will be no parking available off campus. You might like to call Curtin University reception on 9266 9266 for further assistance. Eating Students are required to bring a packed lunch for the day. Timing It is critical for students to be ready to leave the College at 8:15 on the Friday, as we need to be at the Stadium by 9:00 for registration. Similarly, the competition finishes at 3:00. Students will return to College by approx. 3:30 Dress Students are asked to wear their RoboClub Polo shirt and whatever costume requirements their team has. I would recommend students don't wear fragile costuming on the bus, however there are limited facilities available for changing, so be prepared. Kind Regards Rob Hill (Team Leader, Design & RoboClub Coordinator)
