Flights to Charleston from Australia or elsewhere can be arranged with any routings you require. The Sonesta is in an excellent location and is one of the highest rated hotels on Hilton Head Island. Tonight enjoy a Welcome Dinner at the Resort to meet the tour members. Breakfast is included in your package along with other resort activities and inclusions. Today we start at the top but not too early with some warm-up time planned. Our tee-times start at 11.51 so it s an afternoon of awesome golf today. Harbour Town is the PGA event course each year immediately after the Masters and it closes on the 4 th to get ready for the RBC Heritage. Distinguished by its famous red & white lighthouse we will be playing on a Pete Dye designed masterpiece. Mon 4 th April Tue 5 th April Today we play golf at the highly rated Heron Point. Also designed by Pete Dye this is a challenging yet enjoyable course. Our tee-times start at 09.09 today leaving the afternoon free to explore the island together or just relax. Today we head for Augusta but that s after lunch so this morning we have an optional additional golf round. Subject to availability we are targeting an early start at one of the better of the many courses in the area. The additional cost is A$200 per person. After a late lunch we head off to Augusta travelling via the border of South Carolina and Georgia in 3 hours arriving pre-dinner for an immediate check in. Module Two: 05 11 April, US Masters, Augusta Georgia Tue 5 th April If you are joining us here we will include a shuttle transfer from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport when you book your flights with us to Atlanta. Alternatively we can pick you up or offer a shuttle service from Augusta Airport. Please talk to us about your arrangements and the best transport options to Augusta. Pre-dinner the players will arrive from Module1 at Hilton Head to check-in to the Staybridge Suites Augusta. This property is one of the two closest hotels to Augusta National GC, about one mile (1.5kms) away and within easy walking distance if traffic is an issue, which sometimes it is. If walking is not for you there is a complimentary shuttle every day all day to and from the parking lot close to the main entrance at Augusta National. Close to the Suites are numerous dining options all within walking distance. Each evening during the Masters the Staybridge Suites offers drinks and snacks in the Lobby Lounge so feel free to come along and mingle with our group and other golf fans. Some clients make this their dinner. Alcohol based drinks are at normal bar prices. Tonight enjoy a Hosted Welcome Dinner nearby at one of our favourite local dining options. Wed 6 th April Today it s a practice day at The Masters. It s also the highly sought after and entertaining Par Three Contest. Our base package includes the choice of attending today OR attending the first day of the Tournament on Thursday. Cameras and phones are allowed onto the course Mon-Wed but definitely not under any circumstances during the Tournament rounds so this may have an impact on your choice. If you want lots of photos choose today and if you don t care about photos and want to watch the action on day one then select Thursday we need to know when you make your reservations. If you want both we can arrange for an additional day ticket these are expensive so check with us at the time for an up to date price. Tonight is a free night to relax over dinner nearby. Your Tour Managers will have some recommendations and you can join them or do your own thing. Thu 7 th April The first day of the Tournament and if you have selected today as you first entry day take the free shuttle at your leisure to Augusta National or you can also make the walk which is around 25 minutes. If you would prefer to play golf today we can arrange a tee time but this must be done as early as possible and well before you leave Australia. We will arrange transport to and from. Estimated pricing is around $350+ per person and most courses include lunch in the package. We will offer some choices before departing AUS. Fri 8 th April Sat 9 th April Sun 10 th April Today we play golf or you can opt out and purchase another day (with an adjustment) at The Masters or simply do your own thing. Closer to the time once we have final numbers of players we will advise which course we will be playing. All transport is included. If you require club rental please advise as early as possible this will be paid directly at the course. Later on we will be able to watch how the day at the Masters unfolds in real-time on TV and see who made the cut! After breakfast we head south through the Georgian countryside to the stunning historical city of Savannah where on arrival we will take a trolley tour. Following the tour a luncheon will be hosted and there will be free time to explore this very attractive city which is the oldest city in the State, once the British Capital of the Province of Georgia. Later in the afternoon we will return to Augusta which is just over a two hour drive. The big day at The Masters. All week there s been the talk, the hype, the stories and the bets but now it comes down to the back nine to see who will be the Masters Champion for 2016. The atmosphere and the crowd will be electric and we have some helpful hints of where to be when the time comes! Jordan, Jason, Adam again or another Aussie? On arrival we can check-in straight away to our luxury accommodation in the historic Carolina Hotel at Pinehurst. Tonight we have a Welcome Dinner hosted by the team. Steeped in golfing history the Carolina is an historic 1901 building with a southern charm second to none welcome to Pinehurst! Tue 12 th Apr Wed 13 th April Today we play a warm up match on either #4 or #8 courses (there are nine courses). These are the two most sought after courses behind the famous #2 course and we will be allocated a course and time once we can confirm final numbers. After golf it s time to relax and unwind and soak up the local atmosphere before dinner. The day you have been waiting for where we head to the tee box at Pinehurst #2. Donald Ross spent his life tweaking and designing this course, the centrepiece of the Pinehurst complex, the St. Andrews of North America. No matter what happens out there we are sure to have the time of our lives playing this famous course. Afterwards it s back to the Clubhouse to regale our antics before changing and our last evening at the Carolina Hotel for dinner. Module Three: 11 April 18 April, Pinehurst NC, TPC Sawgrass, Florida Thu 14 th April Fri 15 th April On the road again! After breakfast and check out we hit the road this time southwards to the Sunshine State, Florida. It s a long trip in the vans today so sit back and relax as the countryside unfolds. Refreshment stops will be made as well as a short lunch break and we will arrive at the Marriott Resort TPC Sawgrass just before dinner. After a long day it sounds like bar snacks and a cold beer before dining and an early night. The Marriott is located in the TPC Sawgrass complex so we are right in the thick of where we should be. After breakfast we transfer to play the Dye Valley Course designed by Pete Dye which is the sister course to the more famous Stadium Course. Tee times start at 09.05 today. The course has held several championships itself so we are in for a real treat today on this course which has generous fairways and large greens play straight and be well rewarded! The afternoon is free to relax and freshen up for dinner. The hosts will have something arranged or you can just do your own thing on the day. Sat 16 th April What have you been waiting for? The Players Stadium Course TPC at Sawgrass! At 10.10 am we have a crack at this famous course, host to the annual TPC Players Championship. Apart from the signature island par three 17th it has plenty to offer. Having already played a few Pete Dye courses (on purpose) this should be easy now. Let s see! The evening is free tonight to relax at the resort or we will no doubt find a good dining establishment nearby and you can opt in or out to suit your needs. Today was the last included golf round. Sun 17 th April Had enough golf? If you want more this is your last chance. Your hosts will be up for it! Depending on availability and who is keen we will arrange a final round. There are plenty of other world class courses in Northern Florida within easy striking distance. Tonight is the end of tour Farewell Dinner. Some may have done the full-monty with the tour hosts and others may have joined at the Masters. In any case it s time to say farewell and a fabulous dinner is lined up! Mon 18 th April Checking out we will make our way to the Airport for onward flights checking in early afternoon. If you intend to fly Qantas this depends on your status and class of travel. Golf clubs form a part of your regular baggage allowances so it depends on how many pieces you are entitled to. Details are available online at Qantas.com or we can assist when you make a booking. Generally speaking you won t have a problem on long-haul flights or on business class flights. Within the US it s different if you take economy flights as most airlines charge between US35-$25 per piece of luggage for all luggage. There are two main exceptions; Southwest Airlines and JetBlue. Both these airlines permit two pieces per person so your clubs go as the second free piece well worth considering. We can book both airlines and ticket here for you. If you are travelling First or Business Class stay on American airlines then you won t have a problem.
