I grew up right here in Clark County and spent ten years as a 4-H er! I just finished my sophomore year at the University of Kentucky studying architecture. I can't wait to work with youth across Clark County and develop my leadership skills. I'm also excited to get to spend another week at 4-H Camp and learn the ins and outs of the 4-H world! Make sure you say HI! when you see me around this summer! 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus Conference Presidential Inauguration Delegates Selected Four of the Clark County 4-H Leadership Club members have been selected to attend the 2017 United States Presidential Inauguration with the 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus Conference, which is a learning experience that will last a lifetime. These 4-H'ers will learn about leadership and citizenship and focus on how to bring lessons learned back to Clark County. From left to right: Rachel Dodd, Clay Comer, Emily Dittrich and Sydney Miller. The trip will cost approximately $1,300.00 for each member to attend. You will see these four out and about fundraising for their trip. 2016 4-H Senior Spotlight Baylee Pharis George Rogers Clark High School Baylee Pharis, daughter of Jason and Alicia Pharis, has been an active member of Clark County 4-H for over 10 years. Baylee has been involved in many areas of the 4-H Program including: Junior and Teen Leadership, District and State Teen Council, Summer Camp Counselor, Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference, State Teen Conference and Issues Conference. Baylee has completed numerous 4-H workshops and contests at the local and state levels. Baylee has received the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards for Kentucky 4-H along with Outstanding Clark County 4-H er and past DAR Award Winner. Baylee plans to study Recreational Therapy at Eastern Kentucky University. Makayla Hall George Rogers Clark High School Makayla Hall, daughter of Danny and Vonda Hall, has been involved with the Clark County 4-H Ponies and Partners Horse Club for 10 years. Her passion has been the 4-H Horse Drill Team and currently serves as one of the Team Leaders. Makayla plans to attend college to become a Dental Hygienist. Koty Hall George Rogers Clark High School Koty Hall, daughter of David Hall and MJ Jordan, has been a member of Clark County 4-H for 9 years. Koty has proven dedication to the program participating in Sewing, Junior Leadership, Teen Leadership, the Kentucky State 4-H Fashion Leadership Board and as a 4-H Summer Camp Counselor. She participated in the Mock Interview Contest, Speech Contest and Demonstration Contests during her time in 4-H. Koty proved her dedication to the Clark County community with the numerous hours of service helping others. Koty plans to attend Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

2016 4-H Senior Spotlight Emily Dittrich Homeschool Emily Dittrich, daughter of Gunner and Kay Dittrich, has been a member of Clark County 4-H for 4 years. Emily has participated in: Archery, Sewing, Teen Leadership, Cooking and Country Ham. She has attended Issues Conference, Teen Conference, 4-H Summer Camp and State Teen Conference. Emily has served as Vice- President of the Teen Leadership Club, a Teen Leader of the Cooking Club and Sewing Club and a volunteer for the Cloverbud Club. Emily has received numerous awards including: Reserve Champion for her Sewing Project, Champion of the Mock Interview Contest and placed 3rd at the State 4-H Communication Contest for her Demonstration. Emily plans to attend Cosmetology School. Amanda Potts George Rogers Clark High School Amanda Potts, daughter of Jeff and Teresa Potts, has been a member of the Clark County 4-H Ponies & Partners Horse Club for 9 years. She has been a great asset and leader to the club as President, Vice-President and Secretary. Amanda shows in the Walking Horse Division and won either High Point and Reserve High Point titles multiple years. She has also been a member of the 4-H Horse Drill Team and served as Captain for 2 years. Amanda would like to one day pursue a career in Pediatric Dentistry. Rachael Drumm George Rogers Clark High School Rachael Drumm, daughter of Joe and Jennifer Drumm, has been seen in and out of the livestock show ring her entire 4-H career. She has gained livestock experience in multiple species: sheep, swine and cattle. Out of the show ring, Rachael has excelled in Livestock Skillathon and Livestock Judging. Last year, Rachael traveled and competed as part of the Kentucky State Gold Livestock Judging Team. She has earned her 4-H Clover Level 5 Achievement Award and many Livestock Skillathon and Livestock Judging Awards. We wish our graduating seniors the very best!
