LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT Welcome to the 2nd season of the Boys ECNL! The inaugural season of the Boys ECNL last year was a fantastic success, and we look forward to making the second season even better. Thank you to all of the clubs, coaches, players, and families that made the first year so positive, and who are building a unique and powerful platform for so many players for the future. In 2018-19, the Boys ECNL will include 71 clubs competing in five age groups from U14 to U18/19. Many of the nation s best teams and players will face off in one of seven different conferences, at four different regular season ECNL National Events, and ultimately at the ENPL Playoffs and Finals to determine national champions. The 2018 ENPL Finals saw Boys ECNL teams claim 8 of the 16 Final Four berths, and four ENPL National Championships, and we look forward to seeing more fantastic success this season. This season will also see growth and expansion of the Boys ECNL National Training Camp, building on the incredible experience this August where the best of the league trained and competed in the Bahamas and against the Bahamas National Teams. The 2019 ECNL Coaching Symposium will bring some of the leading minds in sport and performance in front of directors and coaches from across the league as we seek to constantly raise standards in coaching and development. The Boys ECNL is your league, created by coaches to serve the needs of the aspiring American male player. The inaugural season was a fantastic beginning, and we look forward to more success, more opportunity, and more player, team and club growth as we work with you to constantly raise standards in our game. Christian Lavers ECNL President 3
