Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. 2. Before operating your Portable 3-/2 Gallon Air Tank check for damaged parts. 3. Do not exceed the Maximum PSI. 4. Do not over inflate. Never exceed the maximum pressure rating of any inflatable. Check pressure frequently during inflation. 5. Pull the Safety Release valve ring prior to operation to ensure that the valve is functioning properly and to clear the valve of any possible obstructions. 6. Beware of possible explosion. The unit is capable of producing compressed air at high pressure which could cause tires, toys or other inflatables to explode. This could result in serious injury. 7. Do not leave the Air Tank running unattended. Unattended use could result in explosion. 8. Store idle equipment. When not in use, tools must be stored in a dry location to prevent damage from the elements. 9. Do not fill from any compressed gas cylinder or a system charged with greater than 25 PSI. 0. Only fill with air from a service station or low pressure air compressor system.. Do not fill the Portable 3-/2 Gallon Air Tank with any thing other than air under any circumstance. 2. Do not expose the Air Tank to severe moisture or extreme heat. Assembly Your Portable Air Tank comes in two assemblies. For reference please refer to the Assembly Diagram and the Parts List on page 5 of this manual. Some basic assembly instructions have been included for your convenience. It is important that your read the entire manual to become familiar with the unit BEFORE you use it. Be sure that you have all parts described in the Parts List. Step Wrap the Pipe Wraping Tape (6) arround the male pipe thread of the on the Filler / Safety Valve Assembly (5). Operation When operating your Portable 3-/2 Gallon Air Tank, it will be helpful to refer to the Assembly Diagram and the Parts List on page 5. Filling the Tank Step Step 2 Step 3 There is a red knob on the Filler / Safety Valve Assembly (5). Turn it in a clockwise rotation until it stops. Attach an air hose ( not included ) from a service station or low pressure Air Compressor system to the air fitting on the Filler / Safety Valve Assembly (5). With the Inlet Valve hooked up to the air source, begin pumping air into the Air Tank. NOTE: Monitor the Pressure Gauge (part #4) as you fill the Air Tank. Fill the tank to no more than 25 PSI maximum. Releasing Air From The Air Tank Step Step 2 Step 3 Turn the red knob on the Filler / Safety Valve Assembly counterclockwise until it stops. Next place Outlet Valve (2) over the valve of the object to be inflated. Once the pin inside the Outlet Valve (2) is depressed, air will begin to flow out from the Air Tank into the inflatable. Once you are finished inflating air into the inflatable remove the Outlet Valve (2) away from the inflatable and the air will stop being released from the tank. Warning! Do not overinflate. Never exceed the maximum pressure rating of any inflatable. Check pressure frequently during inflation. The Air Tank should be examined periodically and if any damage to the welds is noted do not use the tank. IF THERE IS ANY QUESTION ABOUT A CONDITION BEING SAFE OR UNSAFE, DO NOT OPERATE THE TOOL.
