The Marathon is an event of the City and municipality of Dębno. 2. The event is organized by Sports and Recreation Centre in cooperation with Marathon Organizing Committee. 3. Sports supervision holds Polish Athletic Association(PZLA). II. OBJECTIVE 1. To award the Polish Champions of Marathon in 2013 in the category of women and police officers. 2. Promoting run as the easiest form of physical activity. 3. Promotion of the City and Municipality of Dębno. III. DATE AND PLACE 1.The race will be held on 7th April 2013,on the streets of Dębno and outside the city through wooded suburban roads, which are covered with asphalt (98%) and pavement blocks (2%). 2. Start: Dębno crossroads of Kostrzyńska and Słowackiego, at 11.00 a.m. 3. Route: 4 loops - two on the streets of Dębno and two loops Dębno-Dargomyśl-Cychry- Dębno. The route has PZLA s certificate, every kilometer is marked, timing points every 5km. 4. Finishing line: Dębno, ul. Mickiewicz 8 th, The time will be measured until 4:00 p.m. 5. Between 10.30 am an 4.30 pm - the route will be closed to vehicular traffic. 6. The nutrition points will be located in the 5 permanent places which will be arranged as follows: mineral water, isotonic drinks, tea, fruits and sweets. The use of beverages in other locations than prepared by organizer is strictly prohibited and exposes the player to disqualification. 7. On the route there will be no points with runners own nutrients. 8. Refreshing points will be located midway between the points of nutrition and will be provided with a sponge and water to drink. 9. Medical points will be located on the route, in six fixed locations, placed at (approximately) every 2, 8 km. 10. Organizer provides medical care on the route, the finish line and in the school building (Gimnazjum Publicize). IV. PARTICIPATION 1. the runners born on 7.04. 1995 and earlier are eligible to compete in the 40.Marathon Dębno and meet other requirements of these Regulations.
2. All competitors must be verified in the Organizer s Office on 6 April between 10.00 am - 10.00 pm or on April 7 th between. 7.00 am - 9.30 am 3. Upon the verification the following documents must be provided: - ID card to verify the date of birth, - Proof of payment of the registration fee. 4. During the verification the signature will be required on the declaration of the absence of health contraindications to participate in the marathon and on the agreement for the participation in the marathon at your own risk with full knowledge of the dangers and risks arising from the nature of the event, which may include the risk of loss of health and life. In special cases the final decision regarding participation may be taken after medical examination and the doctor's decision before and during the race. 5. Runners competing in the Polish Women's Marathon are subject to condition of POLISH CHAMPIONSHIP RULES FOR WOMEN (provided by PZLA) in the marathon. 6. A time limit has been set up at 5 hours. If case of exceeding this limit, participants are required to immediately leave the route and get to the technical car with the words KONIEC BIEGU (the end of the race). Runners who after exceeding the time limit will remain on the road and not get in the technical car technically, bear responsibility for it in accordance with the applicable road traffic regulations and the Civil Code. 7. Each runner is required to pick up the "chip" and return it undamaged directly after the race in a separate section on the sports field of Gimnazjum between 1.00 p.m-5.00 p.m. During the race, all competitors must have the chip attached to the left or right shoes at the ankle. Having a "chip" is a precondition to start in the marathon and being ranked in the final classification. Improper attachment may result in unclassified player. The renting of the chips are free from additional fee and deposit will. 8.Additinal conditions to participate in the marathon are: - Agreement to the processing of personal data, including the posting of such data in TV, radio, online and in print form and send by the organizers by e-mail, and surveys of players details for Marathon. - Permission to use images in the form of photographs or video recordings. Participant grants a license to the organizer for using the image consistently in all areas of life, including in particular, consistently reproduce the image recording, posting and publishing on websites, in newspapers, posters and billboards, broadcast in TV and radio. V. Enrolment 1. Fulfilled registrations forms should be sent to the Conference Office: Ośrodek Sportu I Rekreacji, ul. Parkowa 20, 74-400 Dębno, tel / fax 48-957602436 or submitted electronically from the following websites or www.maratonypolskie.pl; www.maratondebno.pl 2. As registration we consider delivering the registration form to the organizer (by post or online) the booking of the registration fee from your account. The amount of participation fee depend on the date of payment, and is as follows: - 100 PLN until 10.03.2013-200 PLN in the period 11.03-05.04.2013, - 300 PLN within 06.04.-07.04.2013, The amount of the participation fee is set according to the date when organizer receives the money on his account. From the participation fee are excluded: - Participants of the Polish Championship with a valid license for 2013, - Players from the judgment of the first group disability, - Players who have completed 60 years.
Exemptions are provided under the condition that the runes registered for the race via online or post by 10.03.2013r. / This rule does not apply to participants in the Polish Championships /. VI. Financial bonuses for breaking the record of Dębno s Marathon: - Women - time under 2:32:09 5 000 PLN, - Men - time under 2:10:34 10 000 PLN The cash bonus is received by the first runner at the finish line. 9. Bonuses and cash prizes won by participants will be transferred by bank transfer to a designated bank account within 8 weeks after receiving a report from the Commission Against Doping. 10. From the bonuses and prize money the income tax in accordance with applicable tax regulations will be deducted. VIII. ACCOMMODATION 1. The organizer will provide free accommodation on the sport halls on the night 6/7 April 2013, for the runners who requested reservation on the application form. The organizer does not provide mattresses and sleeping bags. Number of beds is limited. 2. Vouchers for accommodation will be distributed during verification on April 6th 2013 between 10.00 am 10.00 pm 3. There is a possibility of direct booking of accommodations, hotels and private homes whose addresses are given on our website: www.maratondebno.pl 4. PZLA licensed clubs may submit a request for accommodation until 3 rd March 2013. IX. BOARD 1. All players will receive free vouchers for "PASTA PARTY" (dinner consisting of pasta with sauce, coffee, tea and mineral water), which will take place on 6th April 2013, between 19.00-21.00 in the cafeteria next to the registration office of the marathon. 2. The organizer will provide fruit, sweets and drinks on the route. 3. All players have the right for the regeneration package in advertising bags and a warm meal after the race in the building of Gimnzajum Publiczne and cafeteria next to the registration office on 7 th April between 1.00-5.30 p.m. 4. Additional boarding at participant s own expense. X. FINANCING 1. The costs of organizing the marathon Dębno are covered by: - Town Council - the main sponsor, - Companies and institutions supporting Marathon - a list in the final communiqué. 2. Registration fee, transportation expenses and other expenses are covered by the participants. 3. Within the scope of registration fee participants will receive: - Race number and safety pins, - Conditions of the run and the program of the event, - Bag for clothes for the locker room, - official event T-shirts, - Pennant
- After completing the race- the occasional medal - Food and drink described in chapter IX of the marathon conditions, XI. FINAL PROVISIONS 1.During the race, all competitors must have a "chip" for the time measurement and the starting number attached to the shirt on runner s chest. The runners participating in the Polish Championships have the starting number attached to the chest and back. 2. Only the participants of the Marathon Dębno can remain on the route of the marathon (accompanying persons are not allowed to stay on the road), marathon s support and vehicles with a organizer s pass. Being on the road without a valid Marathon race number is not allowed. Those people without a valid starting number will be removed from the route by route service. In particular, it is prohibited to be present on the race route on bicycles, roller skates, skateboards and other mechanical devices, and with the animals without a valid permit issued by the organizer. It is also not allowed to use a Nordic Walking poles. 3. Transfer of the starting number to another person will cause the disqualification. 4. Marathon will be held in accordance with the IAAF and PZLA and these rules. 5. Random doping control will be conducted after completing, the runners designated by the Commission to take part in it must necessarily follow the procedure. 6. Locker rooms and changing rooms will be located in MARATHON OFFICE (Sport and Rehabilitation Hall). Washrooms and showers will be available in the Gimnazjum School and Sports and Rehabilitation Hall (Marathon Office). 7. Runners give a deposit belongings packed in special bags, distributed in start packages. Giving back provided things from deposit will take place based on the presentation of the starting number. Losing the start number by the participant releases the organizer of the responsibility of collecting bags by another person. The organizer is not responsible for valuable things left in the bags/luggage given to deposit. 8. Parking on 6 th and 7th April 2013, will be located at the Registration Office - entrance from the Słowackiego. 9. All participants of the marathon can enjoy a massage in the Gimnazjum Publiczne Building and Sports and Rehabilitation Hall (Registration Office). 10. The final interpretation of these regulations is to be done by the Organizer and PZLA. 11. Participants of the Polish Women's Marathon Championships, the Polish Police s Championship and International Firefighters Marathon in addition to this regulations are subject to the Regulation of POLISH WOMEN S CHAMPIONSHIP in the marathon; Regulation of 11th Polish Police s Championships and Regulations of 5 th International Firefighters Marathon. 12. All participant during the race are insured against accidents on general conditions. Individual insurance in case of injury or other unfortunate events that can be incurred by the runner during a race must be purchased individually by the participant.
