About AWA Spring Camp A spring camp and instructors seminar is a great opportunity to participate in vigorous training before the summer vacations; to step up your development by training together with the senior ka of the AWA. Instruction by Sato Sensei and the AWA Technical Committee members will provide many new experiences and push your training to the max! Certificates of attendance will be issued to fulfil test requirements for rank advancement. Sato, Rokudan Aikikai, is a full-time instructor. Sato Sensei trained under Fumio Toyoda Shihan beginning in 1977, until Toyoda Sensei s passing in 2001. From 2002 until the end of 2004, Sato Sensei served as the chief instructor of both the AAA and AAI. In 2005, he organized the World Alliance. Athens Bushido Center Athens Bushido Center began as an athletic club in 2008 until 2010 during which time over 20 seminars of various topics beyond were offered. In 2012, it renamed itself as the Athletic Organization in Cooperation with the Greek-Japanese Assocation, Greece Japan.com, and other entities associated with Japanese culture. Panagiotis Agrios, born in 1975 has a background in boxing, studied judo in his youth, and in 1998 began, training in Japan. Agrios Sensei now attends seminars abroad and has been the Chief Instructor of the Athens Bushido Center since 2008, he is ranked Sandan Aikikai. Lodging in the Area People can sleep on the mats in the dojo at no additional cost (for four nights). You must provide your own sleeping bag. There are showers and WC in the building.
