Saturday August 11 th, 2018: 9:30 am - Clear the pits 10:00 am - Pit gates open 11:00 am - Tech lines open 11:00 am - Tires and fuel sales begin 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - 1st practice 20 minute sessions for each division 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm - 2nd practice 20 minute sessions for each division 4:00 pm Drivers meeting 4:15 pm - Late model tires will be released from impound 5:00 pm Qualifying Motor Mountain Masters Race Format Pill Draw: Late Models and Modified will pull pills for qualifying order. Four cylinders will draw pills for heat races Qualifying Procedure: Late models and modifieds will run single car green-white-checkered time trials to set heat race line ups. Heats line ups will be straight up on time. If there are identical times, tiebreaker will be best 2nd lap & 2nd tiebreaker is lowest pill drawn. Drivers that miss their qualifying position will get 1 lap at the end. Top two late models and modifieds on time will be guaranteed front row A Main starting positions providing they finish their perspective heat race in a qualifying position. Late Models will be required scaling prior to reporting to the grind for qualifications. Modifieds will report directly to the scales at the completion of their two lap qualification run. Impounded after Qualifying: Late models and modifieds will be impounded after qualifying and only air pressure adjustments made prior to their designated heat race. Heats/B Mains: Number of cars qualified will determine heat race size 26 cars will advance to A Main from heat races 2 cars will advance to A Main from B main race. Cars may return to their pits at the conclusion of heat races. Track Procedures: All heat races, B-Mains and features will follow normal Jennerstown Speedway Complex track procedures. 4 Cylinders A Main: 35 laps Only green flag laps count No lucky dogs. 4 tire race-- no tire changes unless it is a verified flat. An approved used tire must be in the event of a flat. Race Tires May be purchased on Friday but must be marked- no tire impound for 4 cylinders Modified A Main: 50 lap feature- 2 segments only green flag laps will count First car one lap down will receive lucky dog on a caution providing they did not cause the caution. No Lucky dog will be given at the end of a segment. Tires: 4 tire race-- no tire changes unless it is a verified flat. An approved used tire must be available in the event of a flat. Race tires may be purchased on Friday but must be marked when purchased Tires will not be impounded for modifieds but must remain in the tracks position after practice Friday until the gates open Saturday. Segments: Segment #1 20 laps - 5 minute competition caution Segment #2 30 laps (Checker) Segment #1 Competition Yellow Procedure: All cars will be paced down pit row by the pace vehicle. No service can be performed until a horn is sounded. A 1 minute horn will sound signaling 1 minute remaining in the segment break. 5 minute horn will sound all service must be completed and the driver needs to ready to return to the speedway. Any drivers that do not follow the pace vehicle onto the speedway when instructed, will be placed to the tail of the field. Positions will be frozen during the segment breaks. Late Model A Main: 150 laps - 3 segments - caution laps count up till lap 125. After lap 125 caution laps will not count. First car one lap down will receive lucky dog on a caution providing they did not cause the caution. No Lucky dog will be given at the end of a segment. Tires: 6 tires are permitted for the race- this is an impound tire race. If all 6 new tires are used, an approved used tire must be available in the event of a flat tire. Race tires may be purchased on Friday but must be marked when purchased and remain in the tracks possession until the scheduled release on Saturday. Segments: Segment #1 40 laps- 5 minute competition caution Segment #2 50 Laps - 5 minute competition caution Segment #3 60 Laps (Checker) Segment #1 & #2 Competition Yellow Procedure: All cars will be paced down pit row by the pace vehicle.
