Here, you can check in from 12:00 on the day of arrival and until midnight (00:00). Check-out before 15:00 on departure day. NB! 6) RENTAL CARS AND KEYS Everyone who hires cars through Toppidrettsveka must sign a liability document and deliver the car in the same condition it was handed out. Everyone delivers the car(s) and the car keys directly to Andre Gjørven. All questions related to car rentals can be answered by the same person at: +47 990 34 103. 7) TRANSPORTATION DURING RACE #2 (AURE BREKKA) Transportation will be arranged from / to Tjeldbergodden corresponding with the Aure Brekka competition. More detailed information will be given on the team captains meeting. 8) RULES AND WARM UP ZONE Helmet / rollerskis During all rollerski-competitions it is mandatory to wear a helmet. We use SWIX Classic II Standard and standard skate II. Points System Toppidretsveka consists of 3 introductory races and a final pursuit. The winner of the pursuit, also wins the Toppidrettsveka overall. For each introductory race, points are awarded according to the World Cup points system, where 1st place is worth 100 points, 2nd place is worth 80 points, 3rd place is worth 60 points, and so on. Please see points table below for further details. During the second race from Aure to Brekka, there will be awarded bonus points at 2 sprints, where the the top six (6) athletes receive bonus points according to the following rule: 1st (30p), 2nd (25p), 3rd (20p), 4th (15p), 5th (10p) and 6th (5p). All of the 3 introductory races are mandatory to complete in order to have starting rights in the final pursuit. None of the results from these races can be scratched every race counts toward the overall. The overall ranking list after the 3 introductory races is the basis for deciding the starting order of the final pursuit. The athlete with the most points will be starting in 1st position. The time differences is estimated by converting points to seconds, where 1 point is equal to 0.5 second (half a second). I.e., if the second best athlete has 10 points less than the best athlete, he or she will be starting 5 seconds behind. Every athlete that has an equal to, or more than 260 points 9

less than the best (1st) athlete will be starting in a wave start 3 minutes (180 seconds) behind the leader. Aure - Brekka There are 2 sprint prizes during this race: The first after approx. 1km. (At the gas station) and the other after approx. 23km (by the shooting range in Årvågsfjorden) The following bonus points are awarded for the top six (6): - 30 p. - 25 p. - 20 p. - 15 p. - 10 p. - 5 p. Sprint Trondheim The 15 best after 2 competitions in Toppidrettsveka are prequalified for quarter finals in the sprint in Trondheim. The pre-qualified must also race the qualification rounds. The pre-qualifiers will be placed in the range of 1 to 15 in the prologue. Toppidrettsveka finals in Trondheim In the women's class it is the judge s decision whether it is going to be a masstart or a pursuit. 10

Athletes who are lapped will be physically taken out of the competition by race commissioners. This applies both to the women's and men's class. Distribution of bib number vests Inquire with the race office no later than 1 hour before start to receive your bib number. The race office at Aure is located at ABUS (Aure Child and Youth School). The race office in Trondheim is located in Hornemannsgården (yellow building by the city square, Torvet). Dressing rooms, showers, etc. For the Aure competition there are dressing rooms at the Aure Arena. For the competition in Trondheim, contact the race office for dressing room information. Prizes and price giving ceremonies The 3 introductory competitions are awarded individually for the 3 best in both the women's and men's class. The prizes are NOK 3,000, - for first place, NOK 2,000, - for second place and NOK 1,000 for third place. The top 3 in Toppidrettsveka overall, both in the women's and men's class: First prize is NOK 15,000, - the second prize is NOK 5,000, and the third prize is NOK 3,000, -. It is mandatory for the prize winners to be at the prize giving ceremonies. Those who do not show up at the price giving ceremony will not receive the prize money. 11
