The Marauders hold the all-time series lead, 86-84, as the schools split the two games last season. BU won the first matchup, 64-55; and Millersville took the second, 71-69. LAST TIME OUT BU lost a double-overtime thriller to East Stroudsburg, 101-96 on Wednesday night at the Nelson Field House. The Huskies held a 15-point lead in the second half, but the Warriors mounted a comeback and outscored BU 7-0 in the final 2:25 to send the game to overtime. The Huskies held an 86-84 advantage in the first OT, but ESU converted 2 free throws to tie the game, and then outscored BU 15-10 in the second overtime period to take the victory. Sr. G Ruben Britt had a game-high 29 points, connecting on 11-12 free throws and adding 7 rebounds. So. G Trevon Johnson had 17 points with 4 steals, So. He is also 2nd in steals with 20 and has an 83.3 FT% (40-48), which ranks 3rd in the PSAC. Britt led the Huskies in scoring with 13.2 ppg last season after transferring from Division I Coppin State. He also totaled 91 rebounds and 20 steals. HITTING DOUBLE-FIGURES Britt has hit double-figures in scoring 11 times this season, including a current streak of 10 straight games. During that span, Britt is averaging 16.4 ppg with a 54.5 FG% (61-112) in 34.5 mpg. He s also averaging 5.5 rpg with 33 assists and 15 steals over that stretch. Britt scored a game-high 29 points against East Stroudsburg and a career-high 30 in BU s comeback win over Edinboro. He has hit 20+ points in three of his past six games. IN THE MIDDLE So. F Larry Webster has played well down low, averaging a teamhigh 5.7 rpg and is tied for 3rd in the PSAC with 2.5 bpg this season. He has two double-doubles and has posted double-figure rebounds three times, including a season-high 13 against Lock Haven. Against the Bald Eagles, Webster moved into BU s all-time top ten in career blocks. After posting another 16 in the last six games, Webster has moved into 8th place with 72. He sits 2 blocks behind Mike Day (1992-97) who had 74 for his career. Webster has 38 blocks so far this season, including a BU single-game record 9 against Chestnut Hill. Webster is 3rd on the Huskies with 10.0 ppg, has nine double-figure scoring games, and is 3rd in the PSAC with a 61.3 FG% (68-111). HE SCORES... So. G Trevon Johnson is 2nd on the Huskies in scoring, averaging 11.8 ppg, and has led BU in scoring in five games. He had a breakout game against Wilmington, scoring a career-high 26 points in a comeback win. Since then he has scored in double-figures in nine of 12 games and is averaging 12.9 ppg with a 49.6 FG% (56-113)....HE DEFENDS Johnson has also been dominant on the defensive end of the floor, averaging 2.5 spg, 1st in the PSAC. He has at least 1 steal in 14 of 15 games this year and has recorded at least 3 on nine occassions, including a season-high 5 against PSU Hazleton. TOP FROSH Fr. F Ed Hall has received two PSAC East Freshman of the Week awards this season, with the latest coming on Dec. 14 after averaging 12.7 ppg and 8.0 rpg in games against PSU Wilkes-Barre, Chestnut Hill and Pitt-Johnstown. His first came on Dec. 7. Hall is 4th on the Huskies in scoring (9.5 ppg) and 2nd in rebounding (5.7 rpg). He has scored in double-figures seven times, including a season-high 17 against Pitt-Johnstown. Hall has started five times this year, averaging 21.0 mpg in those contests.

STEPPING UP So. G Jesse Betar has played well off the bench this season, appearing in 14 games and averaging 24.1 mpg. He is averaging 5.6 ppg and 3.2 rpg and has collected at least 5 boards in five games. Betar made his fifth start of the season against West Chester and has received more playing time recently, averaging 7.0 ppg and 3.7 rpg in 30.4 mpg in his last seven games. Against Clarion, Betar scored a season-high 15 points with 6 boards and played in a careerhigh 38 minutes against Cheyney. DOWN LOW Sr. F Adon El and So. F Trenton Epps have provided a physical presence inside for the Huskies this season. El made his season debut against West Chester, scoring 14 points and grabbing 7 boards in 33 minutes off the bench. El averaged 10.7 ppg and 7.4 rpg in 10 starts for the Huskies during the 2007-08 season. Epps has played in all 15 games, including starts in each of the past four. In those contests, Epps has averaged 6.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg in 34.5 mpg and has an 64.7 FG% (11-17). Earlier this season, Epps had a stretch of three games where he scored at least 5 points and grabbed at least 8 boards in each. For the year Epps is averaging 4.1 ppg and 4.5 rpg with a 54.2 FG% (26-48). OH CANADA! Sr. G Greg Elliott, a tri-captain, has made six starts this season and is averaging 5.3 ppg and 1.8 rpg. He has scored at least 8 points in five games, including a season-high 19 points on 8-12 shooting against PSU Wilkes-Barre. In his BU debut at Chestnut Hill, Elliott scored 9 points with 9 rebounds with 3 assists in 33 minutes. Elliott sat out last season after coming to BU from Champlain College-St. Lambert in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. OFF THE BENCH Fr. G Jamar Smack has started four games and has played in all 15 this season. As a starter he is averaging 4.3 ppg and 2.3 apg in 21.0 mpg, adding 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
