The Orange and the Blue team competed in tournaments and showed great improvement. The coaches are seeing huge improvement and lots of hard work every day in games and in practice. In addition to the tournaments, all three teams have competed against Evans MS, Cockrill MS, and Prosper Reynolds MS. Outstanding players so far for each team are: for the Orange team, Maya Rhamy and Kaelyn Hamilton, for the Blue team Kaitlyn West and Ava Huskey, for the White team Emily Kilpatrick and I Janae Lowe. 8th Grade Volleyball The 8th grade girls volleyball team has been hard at work this season, and are always eager to play more and learn more. Since the season has begun the girls have faced many talented teams, but the Lady Tigers always fight back hard. Since the beginning of the season the Blue and Orange Team have each played in a tournament, and both teams received their first wins! All 3 teams consistently show hard work and growth in each and every game. Coach Sessom and Runeberg are extremely proud of the Lady Tigers volleyball team this season, and are excited to see the girls continue to excel. Boys and Girls Cross Country Cross Country is in full swing. We are already halfway through our season and have competed at the Prosper Meet and at our own Tiger Trail. Top runners for each division are - 7th Girls - Jazlyn Williams and Katie Fillippo 7th Boys - Julian Farias and Zac Ayer 8th Girls - Jenna Wilkenson and Rachel Kenealey 8th Boys - Juan Tovar and Andrew Myers. Cross Country still has the Evans Meet, the Cockrill Elite Meet and the District Meet left to run. Coach Glory and Coach Goodman are so proud of the hard work they are putting in every day!

Football Highlights 7th Grade Football The Tigers opened their season up this month ready to display their hard work and effort. They have been hard at work every morning in preparation to give their teammates their best effort, focus, and heart up to this point. The Tigers look forward in effectively establishing their presence on the football field for four quarters with a "No Quit" attitude each game, as well as every practice. The Tiger s will use the roadblocks they ve faced as fuel and their successes as building blocks to grow on. Through adequate training and repetition, the Tigers plan on continuing their improvement by hard work and dedication. As of now the Orange team are 0-2, and the Navy team is 1-1. 8th Grade Football The 8th grade Tiger football team started the season off in September with the MISD preview and the first regular season game against Evans MS. In the preview, the Tigers got a chance to face each MISD opponent they will see this year. A lot of stars shined for the Tigers giving them confidence heading into the year. For the games vs Evans MS, the Tigers won one and lost one in 2 tough games. The Tigers will look forward to getting better each week with hard work through the month of October.
