The numerical inscription must be sent by not later than the 1 st February 2018. Nominal form and booking accommodation should be submitted by not later than the 20 th February 2018. DURATION OF CONTESTS IJF Rules WEIGH IN TBA The weight of the fighters has to fall within the category in which they are enrolled. The fighters: - Presenting themselves after the closing of the weigh-in, cannot participate at the competition, and can present themselves only one time at the official weigh-in. - Must present an official piece of identity (identity card or passport) at the official weigh-in. DRAW Athletes from the same club and from the same country will be seeded. Place & Time to be confirmed CLOTHING The competitions will be held in white judogi. Blue judogi are allowed (instead of athlete fighting with red belt) however the athlete should also be in possession of a white judogi. The Judogi must satisfy the sokuteiki rule. The women competitors must wear a white non-transparent T-shirt, the bras must not have any hard pieces. Make-up and jewellery are prohibited. Long hair has to be bound with an elastic band. The nails have to be cut short. Each club must bring spare judogi for their athletes in case of rapture or bleeding on the judogi. These judogi have to be kept near the tatami during the competition. FEE The fee is of 25 per athlete. No extra charge for athletes entering the open category.

XXXIV Malta International Judo Open DRAGONS 9:30hrs 11:30hrs Judoka affiliated to the Malta Judo Federation (Any foreigners interested please contact us for more details) Junior Dragon: Athletes born 2009 2014 No weight categories Senior Dragon: Athletes born 2007 2008 No weight categories Junior Dragons and Senior Dragons will participate together in several games and demonstration of techniques
REFEREEING Fra Andrew Bertie Memorial 2018 ALL EVENTS Referees have to be at least active National Referees. Referees holding an EJU or IJF license will be hosted at the MJF expense, if booked beforehand. Inscriptions have to be sent to the Malta Judo Federation by the 1 st February 2018. A referee meeting is scheduled on the same day of the competition at 10:00hrs. The attendance to the Referee meeting is strictly compulsory. ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT The Accommodation package includes, Accommodation per person for 2 nights (24 th 26 th March) transfer from and to the airport, transport to the weigh in and transfer to and from the sports hall. We have special prices for extra nights, please send your request Teams are more than welcome to book their own accommodation; however these teams would have to make their own way from and to the airport, to and from the weigh in and to and from the sports hall.
