Liquid with a surprise HomeLox makes and stores liquid oxygen at home

Liquid in a whole

new light The innovative HomeLox portable liquid oxygen system from Philips Respironics enables your patients to now generate and store liquid oxygen right in their own home. This groundbreaking system offers the long-lasting portability of liquid oxygen in a way that greatly reduces the cost and complexity of traditional systems. Think liquid Whether you are currently committed to providing liquid oxygen to your patients, outsourcing liquid to other providers, or turning away liquid referrals altogether, the HomeLox system can benefit your bottom line. Outsourcing liquid? Gain control by providing liquid yourself without the investment required in traditional systems. Better for your bottom line HomeLox eliminates many of the significant costs that are traditionally associated with delivered liquid oxygen including: Recurrent deliveries Specialized vehicles Testing equipment Storage containers Filling-related service calls Current liquid oxygen provider? Transition away from the expensive equipment and recurrent delivery costs while providing patients the ability to generate oxygen in their homes. Not offering liquid? Grow your oxygen business by offering a unique liquid oxygen solution to clinicians. Maintain your relationships and stop turning away referrals by including liquid oxygen in your offerings. The easy-to-use system includes the HomeLox home liquid oxygen generation and storage unit and the highly portable, long-lasting GoLox portable device.

Let us fi ll you in The HomeLox portable liquid oxygen system uses a new hands-free clean-fill process that reduces the freezing, overfilling, or under filling typically found in traditional liquid systems. Our clean-fill process: Automatically stops filling once GoLox is full Maximizes portable duration Eliminates calls from patients who struggle with traditional liquid filling GoLox portable liquid oxygen device Small and lightweight (3.8 lbs filled) No batteries, no maintenance required Lasts up to 10 hours (on a setting of 2 at 20 breaths per minute) Uses a single-lumen cannula

on innovation Three steps to making liquid oxygen at home Step 1: Concentrate Using a high-quality compressor and the same sieve bed material found in the EverFlo stationary oxygen concentrator, HomeLox collects room air and converts it into prescription-grade oxygen. Step 2: Refrigerate/store The oxygen is then cooled to -279 F (-173 C) using a proprietary refrigerant and standard refrigeration technology typically found in industrial and household applications. The chilled oxygen is converted into a liquid and then stored. Step 3: Refill When it s time to refill GoLox, simply place the unit on top of HomeLox, lock the unit, and pull the filling lever. This hands-free process addresses the difficulties found with traditional liquid systems that require the use of one or both hands to fill. When full, filling stops automatically.

Easy to maintain For providers, the HomeLox system is low-maintenance with only one filter change required every two years. For patients, HomeLox is maintenance free.
