H 2 O S W I M C L U B S H O R T C O U R S E A U T U M N C U P N O V E M B E R 24-26, 2 0 1 1 INTRODUCTION DATE VENUE TIMINGS PARTICIPANTS AGE CATEGORIES H2O Swim Club is hosting its regional meet and is inviting selected clubs within the region to participate in this event. Our objective is to strengthen ties of friendship and respect among athletes and to assist the development and growth of swimming within the region. November 24th and 26th, 2011 ASD (American school of Doha) Swimming Pool 25m indoor pool. Warm ups will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday and 8:00am on Friday and Saturday. Competition will start at 6:45pm on Thursday and at 9:00am on Friday and Saturday. Regional and Worldwide Swim Clubs by invitation only. Clubs will be allowed a maximum of 20 swimmers. Each swimmer can register for a maximum of 8 events. The hosting club reserves the right to exceed amount of 20 swimmers. All relays are open age group. REGULATIONS All participants must be adequately registered for their age category based on their age on the first day of the competition. This event will follow FINA rules except for the Special Events. Special Events will not accumulate individual or Team points. Please refer to Special Events. MARSHALING Club representatives should marshal their swimmers 3 heats before their race. Swimmers not attending the marshalling area in time will be excluded from the race. Swimmers competing in the first event of a session should marshal ten minutes before the advertised start time. 3
AWARDS Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of each event per age category. Awards will be provided to the best overall male and female swimmers for each age category based on cumulative points earned at the end of the competition in maximum of 8 events. Seasonal award will also be provided for Best Club based on the overall number of points accumulated by 15 swimmers provided in advance by the each club. POINTS Club points will be awarded as FINA points: OFFICIALS Clubs will be required to provide officials for each session. We request one timekeeper and one other official for each 10 swimmers entered. 4

Payment should be made on the day of the event. Payment can be made in cash or by cheque payable to H2O Swim Club. Clubs must submit all completed entry forms via email to H2O Swim Club to the attention of Evgeny Stolyarov at info@h2oswimclub.com no later than 12:00 noon on October 31 st, 2011. No changes or corrections will be accepted after November 7th, 2011. Please submit club entries in Hy-Tek format if possible. Late entries will be charged an additional fee of 100 QR per swimmer. Confirmation of participants after the deadline is subject to availability and at the discretion of the Event Director. Entry times shall not be older than twelve months prior to the first day of the competition. Entries will be accepted if the swimmer meets the qualifying time, achieved in an official race. If no timing is provided by a swim club the competitor will be not accepted. 5
