Attention WEGO! KRISPY KREME doughnuts are for sale starting NOW! Buy your dozen (12) for only $10.00. That's right, 12 freshly baked, deliciously glazed, mouth melting, Krispy Kreme doughnuts! All orders must be in before 3:00pm Friday! Video Game Club will deliver all orders to your classroom on Monday! Don't be the only student without Krispy Kreme doughnuts on Halloween! -- See any Video Game Club member, Mr. Orona in 189A, or Mr. Piha to order your dozen today! Guess what time it is Wildcats? It's time for the FBLA Annual Variety Show!! Tryouts will be held on Wednesday,November 2nd and Thursday, November 3rd in Commons. Sign-up sheets are posted outside of Room 211 in Business Blvd. The show will be held on Wednesday, December 7th! Get those acts together and sign up! This week we the Counseling department is hosting ISAC for the College Application Campaign!! If you have not yet completed your college applications, stop in to the College Career Center ASAP. We will help walk you through the process. It is critical to complete your applications early if you want the best chance to get into your schools! Change of location-the upcoming IL Food Bank Can Drive will be in the Student Activity Center Do you have a teacher detention? Tues/Wed/Sat school? Do you need to make up a PE class? Why not turn in canned goods in lieu of attending one of these. All FBLA Chapter Members: There will be a meeting this Thursday, October 27th at 7:30 am in the Student Activity Center. We will be discussing the upcoming food drive and our Variety Show!! See you all then. Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins! Keep your ideas flowing and don't forget to carve, paint, and create. All pumpkins are due on Monday October 31st to room 234. Voting takes place on November 1st during 3rd hour and winner will be announced just before school ends November 1st. First place is $100, 2nd place $75 and 3rd place $50. Have fun and good luck! Art Club is meeting today in room 193 from 3:15-4:30 p.m. Bring your word drawings from last week to share, find out what t-shirt design won and help work on a banner. Hope to see you there! Tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday and Mismatch Day for Halloween Spirit Week. Don't forget to get some Halloween socks for Thursday. Friday is Black and Orange Day and the most important day is Halloween Monday. Be sure to be in Commons by 7:20 in your costume for the annual costume contest brought to you by Student Council. Gift certificates for the most creative, funniest, and scariest costumes will be awarded.

NEW SPORTS Scholastic bowl practice will be on Wednesday and Thursday this week after school in room 177. See Mr. C if you have any questions. Mandatory softball meeting Thursday, October 27. Meetings will be held at 7:30 and 3:10 in room 141. You only need to attend ONE of the meetings. We will discuss off-season workout schedule and open gyms. Please bring your Chromebook! If you cannot make either meeting, you must come find Coach Gimpert. Last night the girls volleyball ended their season with a 27-29, 20-25 loss to Oswego. A shout out to the squad for their continued support throughout the season. You guys are awesome! Hope to see you in the spring for the boys season. Wildcat Bowlers! Meet inside Commons near Entrance H for a ride to Bowling Green for our first bowling practice. Cost is $5. Anyone is welcome! Expect to be back on campus around 5:30 pm. ROLL WILDCATS!!! PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS SENIORS APPLYING TO COLLEGES: Please keep in mind that some priority deadlines are quickly approaching! Many are November 1st or 15th. If you are in need of a counselor portion of an application or the ordering of a transcript, it is important to leave plenty of time to get that process completed. The day before the deadline will not be enough time. This weekend would be a great time to get those applications completed. CHECK your deadlines. Questions? Stop in the College and Career Center during your lunch for some answers. Start Halloween off early with a Halloween Ice Cream Float. Wego Drama will be selling Floats in your favorite Halloween colors during lunches on Friday October 28 for only 2 dollars. Be aware that all daily dress code restrictions still apply for Halloween Costumes. The following are prohibited: wearing masks, using look alike weapons, or wearing hats that do not go with your costume. As always, the Deans' Office reserves the right to prohibit your use of a costume if it violates our dress code policy. Let's all do our best to ensure everyone has a safe & happy Halloween this year. Any student interested in a career in a Health or Medical field is invited to come to the Health Occupations Students of America or HOSA club informational meeting on Wednesday, October 26th from 7:15-7:45 AM.
