Snippet Assured took charge of its rider passing the 1000m, hung out, ran wide and could not be placed under pressure. Trainer Mr. A Martyn was advised that prior to racing again the colt would be required to perform tractably in an official barrier trial. Twilight Charade was crowded at the start. Assergi began awkwardly at the start and shifted in abruptly. Cream Of Oz began awkwardly at the start, shifted out abruptly and bumped heavily with Twilight Charade. Mr Shuttle was hampered passing the 100m. Watta General the rider T Huet was reprimanded for his actions whilst riding the gelding during the return to scale. Brave Maiden when questioned in relation to the performance S Clenton explained that from the outside barrier she did not pressure her mount to go forward and obtained cover behind midfield in the early stages. She said that the mare travelled relatively well during the middle stages and was on the back of the second place getter and eventual winner passing the 500m, however when she attempted to improve with those runners Brave Maiden did not respond and ran to the finish in a disappointing manner. trainer Mrs. S Grills said that she issued no firm instruction due to the barrier draw and said that whilst the preparation would continue an attempt would be made to place the mare in weaker grade if possible or Non Tab venues if suitable races were available. It s All A Dream slow to begin. Little Miss Tee blundered very badly at the start and lost ground (3L). Race 4: 3YO + Handicap 2100m Go Dragon post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Rod s Bid raced in restricted room in the early part of the home straight. Southern Orders the saddle slipped forward passing the 1600m placing J Murphy at an extreme disadvantage for the remainder of the race. Race 5: Class 1 Handicap 1400m Time Stripper when questioned in relation to the performance, T Huet explained that after travelling outside the lead in the early and middle stages his mount did not respond to his urgings from the 500m and was disappointing in the run to the finish. Further, he was of the opinion that Time Stripper found the 1400m distance too far. A post-race veterinary
examination revealed no abnormality. Stable representative Mr S Perry said that Time Stripper would be freshened up and have the distance of its races reduced. Miss Anna hung out approaching and rounding the home turn. Miss Tickles failed to obtain clear running at any stage in the home straight and could not be fully tested. Princess Mavi the gates on the barrier stall from which the mare began were slow to open resulting in it missing the start (2L). Race 6: Class 3 Handicap 1600m Tilbury Lodge post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Esberg began awkwardly, and then raced ungenerously in the middle stages. Race 7: Open Handicap 1400m Finishing Card when questioned in relation to the performance, S Clenton explained that her mount failed to travel at any stage and was lethargic in its mannerisms. She said that despite having to improve wide on the track from the 600m the gelding did not respond and ran to the finish in a disappointing manner. a post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Trainer Mr S Edmonds expressed some disappointment that the gelding was not restrained to the rear of the field in the early stages and said that if Finishing Card recovered well, its preparation would be continued to culminate in the Tamworth cup where he said it would be better advantaged by carrying less weight. Latitat slow to begin, then hung out during the middle stages and ran very wide rounding the home turn. Lucky News hung out when placed under pressure in the home straight and ran wide inside the 100m. Are You Sure missed the start (2L).
