All of our packages allow the harvest of 2 deer (male or female) per hunter Packages with a Guide Equipped with a four-door van, a mobile radio and an all-terrain vehicle, the guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to your place of accommodations. He will take you from the camp to the hunting trails, help you adjust your equipment and accompany you in the forest. Familiar with the habits of the area s white-tailed deer, he will advise you on the hunting method that best suits the weather conditions. He will also transport your game and take care of evisceration and packing the meat in preparation for your return home. Ground Blinds For those hunters looking for a bit more comfort and for shelter from the rain, we have set up ground blinds at strategic hunting spots Group Hunting Now, when members of a group (maximum of six hunters) agree to share their bag limit for white-tailed deer, they can all keep hunting as long as one group member still has one white-tailed deer hunting licence with a transportation tag. Anticosti... Anticosti Island, oriented east to west in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, is 222 km long by 56 km wide for a total surface area of 7,943 km 2. Hunting Territories Many kilometres of access roads lead to vast sectors divided into secure zones for still hunting. Treestands and ground blinds are also set up at strategic points. Terms and Conditions Rates All rates mentioned in this brochure represent the cost per hunter in Canadian dollars and do not include taxes and the exclusive Anticosti hunting license resident: $62.50* non-resident: $338* *( 2010 rates). Reservation Payment: Payment must be made to the Sales and Reservations Office, by credit card or cheque. A deposit of 10% per hunter is required upon reservation, and 20% of the cost of your stay must be paid within 30 days of your reservation. The balance is payable 90 days before the start of your stay. All reservations made less than 90 days before the start of a stay must be paid in full within the deadline specified at the time the reservation was made. Customers who do not meet the payment deadline or whose payment is not covered by a financial institution will have their reservation automatically cancelled. Some administrative fees may be charged. Anticosti Deer In the absence of predators, the deer on Anticosti are more active in the daytime. In this context, the herd is so prolific that it has one of the highest population densities in North America. Did you know that their special diet gives the meat a more delicate flavour? Not only that, their isolation protects them from the diseases and ticks often found elsewhere. Cancellation Fees: No refunds will be given, but Sépaq Anticosti accepts a substitute at all times. Refunds: No refunds will be given to customers who arrive late or leave before the scheduled end of the stay for reasons beyond the control of Sépaq Anticosti. Cancellation Insurance: Sépaq Anticosti strongly recommends purchasing cancellation insurance. Sépaq Anticosti Liability: Sépaq Anticosti assumes no liability for accidents or delays that could occur during your trip due to the weather or any other conditions beyond its control, including delayed flights.
