Rules of the Tournament: League Of Legends @Luxembourg Gaming Xperience (LGX) Article 1: Organization The tournament for which you have registered is organized as part of the LGX powered by Saturn, whose final stages (LAN) will take place at Casino 2000 in Mondorf (LGX). Tracking of the tournament is supported by "11F Gaming". Article 2: Access, dates and duration The idea is to find the 4 best teams, which will compete Saturday (13/05/17) and Sunday (14/05/17) on stage. Beforehand, two phases of online pre-qualification will take place. Registration is free. Players register on the site: www.lgx.lu. They will receive an e-mail, explaining the steps to be followed in order to qualify online. Online Q1 : o Sunday 02/04/17 (Round 1 at 2 pm, Round 2 at 6 pm) in Best Of 3! o Sunday 09/04/17 (Round 3 at 2 pm, Round 4 at 6 pm) in Best Of 3! -> TOP 2 qualified for LGX Online Q2 : o Sunday 23/04/17 (Round 1 at 2 pm, Round 2 at 6 pm) in Best Of 3! o Sunday 30/04/17 (Round 3 at 2 pm, Round 4 at 6 pm) in Best Of 3! -> TOP 2 qualified for LGX The team that does not manage to qualify in Q1, will be able to try again during the Q2. Deadline for entries: no later than 3 days before the online qualifiers. For reasons of organization / communication, the organizer reserves the right to refuse any registration made after the deadline. The 4 teams qualified for the final stages will be framed afterwards (11F Gaming). The games will take place on 13 and 14 May 2017 during the LGX - Casino 2000 (Mondorf), on stage. The clashes will take place in the afternoon.
Article 3: Game system Game: League Of Legends (PC) The game mode: "Tournament Draft Mode" 5vs5 (Summoner's Rift.), Single elimination in "Best Of 3" Online Pre-Qualifications (Q1 + Q2): Placement of the teams will be done by drawing lots, on the esport platform "Toornament". This is a pre-qualification "Bracket" in single elimination, following the "Best Of 3" mode. Throughout the online pre-qualifications, the various teams will be informed and supervised by the organizer (Mail + Sms) on the discussion group Discord. Follow-up of the results will take place on the esport platform: www.toornament.com, where each team captain will have to create an account (free of charge) in order to validate his participation. In case of cheating, this will allow you to defend yourself with proof, by publishing it on the platform "Toornament" or in the discussion group "Discord". The teams will compete in 5vs5. The first team that manages to win 2 rounds passes to the next round, and so on until the finals. On the platform "Toornament", you can join your next match up. The platform generates a Matchmaking Code for each of the encounters. You ll have to introduce this code in the game to join the right server / game lobby. At the end of the game, the scores / statistics will be automatically sent to the admins, and the score entered in the "bracket".
Communication with admins : All communication will be through the "Discord" app that is specifically designed for Gaming events (Smartphone or PC). Only concerns the CAPTAIN of the team!!! Please download the application "Discord" on your smartphones, or on PC! Create a login! Join the discussion group by introducing the code that we will communicate to you a few days before the qualifications (email)!!! All captains will be in the group. You ll have the opportunity to chat privately with your opponent. You can contact the admins at any time: Message, Pictures, «Voice chat»...
The finals (LGX Casino 2000 LAN) (Top 4) : The 2 best teams of each online qualification will meet during the final phase: 13 + 14 May 2017 in Casino 2000 (Mondorf) on stage. Placement will take place according to the "bracket optimized" model. Article 4 : In-Game rules! Server / Tournament Code : All matches have to be played in the League of Legends client, on the server the respective cup was organized for. The Tournament Code will be created by 11F / Toornament in cooperation. It automates tournaments by creating a match lobby with the the right settings for a tournament match and reports the match statistics to the 11F Toornament servers. The Tournament Code is mandatory if it's provided. In case there is no provided tournament code for the cup, both teams can host a custom game with play mode: Summoner s Rift 5on5 - Tournament Draft Match setting Make sure the match is played with the right settings : Tournament Draft Mode and map according to the cup infopage : Summoners Rift 5vs5. Best of 3 : Winner of the match is decided after winning 2 matches in a series of maximum 3. The highest seeded team decides if they want first ban & pick in the match or not. In case of a score of 1:1, the one team who banned & picked first will have to do so once again for Game 3 (alternately). Example Highest seeded : In our case, "Team LDLC" and "Gamers Origin" are highest seeded and choose if they want to start or give the hand for the Game 1 "ban & pick phase".
Break times (Best Of 3): Between each game, the teams can take a break of 10 minutes. They can also continue directly if both teams agree. Please take a printscreen if there is agreement, in order to avoid any misunderstandings afterwards. No show If your opponent does not show after 20 minutes, you must contact the admin (Discord Group Chat) who will take a decision. Players Make sure all players are eligible to play. In team games, all players must be registered in their corresponding team. Usage of player not belonging to the team, can result in disqualification. Pausing Match In matches played with the Tournament Draft Mode, it is forbidden to use the pause without an obvious reason, such as connection issues or player disconnects. Each team is granted a total of 10 minutes pause time during the match. Admins hold the right to request teams to pause during the match in case of any other issues, and the time used to pause the match will not count for the team it was requested to. In case of needing a longer time period. The opponent team can also give out the agreement before contacting an admin, but any complaints further on will not be taken into account when the team has given an agreement to prolong the pause time. Abusing the pause time can lead into punishment or direct team disqualification. Screenshots to prove of the abuse all have to be uploaded into the match page.
Abortion of match If a team destroyed the Nexus of its opponent or they surrendered, the match is over. Any complaints of cheating of any sort will not change the result, except for a case with a ringer! It is not allowed to abort the match when it s in progress. Number of players Matches should be played 5on5 with 5 players. If a side is missing a player the match can be played 4on5 or 4on4, but only if both teams agree to it. Please take a print screen if there is agreement, in order to avoid any misunderstandings afterwards. Placeholders Each team is allowed 2 Placeholders during a tournament. In case you need to use a placeholder, you are forced to tell your opponent on LoL client chat before the champion is locked in. Placeholders are used in case a player doesn't own a champion his team intends to pick in a game, the player can pick a random uncommon champ to replace that champion. Always explain clearly that the picked champ is a placeholder for another champ (has to be named). When the opponents are informed you can lock in that champion and continue the pick phase. When finished picking all champs you leave champ select and remake the lobby. Afterwards restart champ select but each player picks now the correct champion. Substitutions: In a best of three match, it is allowed to change the lineup / players between the rounds. Agreements between Players Agreements between the teams/players have to be posted as match comments. In case of chat lobby agreements, always take a screenshot.
Ringer / Faker It is not allowed to have another person play from your account during a match. In case of suspicion leading to proof of it, player and team will be punished. Punishment includes direct disqualification, and if match ended the win will be granted to the opponent Player / Team. Technical issues Please resolve any problems that might occur before a match starts. Connection or Hardware Problems during a match could lead into a disqualification Spectators: Spectators are allowed in the tournament lobbies! Article 5 : Illegal actions! Any player not following the rules, will be seen as conducting unsportsmanlike behavior, and will be punished according to our ruleset. Deception The attempt to deceive admins or other players with wrong or fake statements, information, media or data will not be tolerated, and will be punished Insults / Harassment The players are obligated to maintain a professional behavior when playing a match. In cases of insults and harassment of the opponent team, please contact the admins. The complaint has to contain a clear screenshot of the insult and the offender s account or In game game account.
Fake Result For every tournament Players and Teams shall not give wrong information regarding the match result, nor manually fill in a fake result. Faking the match result is punishable. Fake Match Media Players and Teams shall not upload fake match media, such as in game screenshots, lobby screenshots and other screenshots that can be used to fake an advantage towards the opponent team. Faking match media results in punishment Fake Match Players and Teams shall not create Fake Matches by using multi accounts or friends to lose on purpose. Every match is being checked, and in case of finding a fake match, the Player or Team will be punished. A Fake Match also includes starting up a game without opponent present in the game. Cheating / 3rd party usage All forms of cheating in matches are forbidden and will be punished, the admin responsible holds the right to punish a player to full extent of the rules, if the cheating contains: Usage of unauthorized offenses, such as in game bugs Usage of scripts to provide an unsportsmanlike conducts (No Fairplay) The Admin responsible for the case, has the final decision. Article 6 : Prize pool! 1st prize 2,500 (500 per person) + 32.000 RP + Ryze triomphant 2nd prize 1.250 (250 per person) + 24.000 RP 3rd prize 750 (150 per person) + 16.000 RP 4th prize 500 (100 per person) + 9.000 RP
Article 7: Right of personality! Photos / videos of the participants will be made within the framework of the Communication around the event. As a result, the participation in the tournament entails the express permission of 11F Gaming + LGX to broadcast this content, or to Communicate it to the press (images, videos, names, first names). Article 8: Application of the rules! The participation in the tournament implies acceptance of the present rules by the players. The organizer reserves the right to modify or adapt certain points if necessary. These changes will always be in the interest of the players. Good luck to everyone LGX + 11F Gaming Team!
