Player Experience Preferences The South Central Chaos Lacrosse Club has the following experience preferences to be eligible to play for the teams in the various age divisions. The Spring 2013 season counts as one year. Players that do not meet the minimum experience eligibility requirements may be invited by a Chaos Lacrosse Club Coach to try-out for their respective team. See Tryout information. U9 - two years minimum U11 - three years minimum U13 - four years minimum U15 - five years minimum JV & Varsity - six years minimum Tryouts The South Central Chaos Lacrosse Club anticipates having a large number of players wanting to play at each age division. When there are more players than available spots for a particular team, tryouts will be scheduled and held. During tryouts, players will be evaluated on individual skill execution, team skills, as well as intrinsic traits such as motivation, leadership and desire. Players will be selected based on what they do during the tryouts and what we perceive their potential to be. We select players based on the criteria of athletic potential, attitude, work ethic, drive, willingness to be coached, leadership and lacrosse skills. It is suggested that players attend as many tryout sessions as possible. There will be a non-refundable tryout fee of $25 per player. Parent Conduct Rules 1. In an effort to be positive role models, the South Central Chaos Lacrosse Club will not tolerate hostile, aggressive confrontations between a parent and any official, or a parent and any coach, or a parent and any athlete, or a parent and any other parent, whether the coach, player or other parent is a member of Chaos Lacrosse or not. Violation of this policy may result in the parent being removed or the player being dismissed from Chaos Lacrosse. 2. It is inappropriate for a parent to approach other Chaos Lacrosse members about a problem a player or parent is having with a Chaos Lacrosse coach, about objections to coaching decisions, or about disagreement with a Club decision. 3. Asking uninvolved persons to take sides in an issue is unfair to the third party and to the Club. Competitive team athletics, by its very nature, creates situations where everyone may not be happy all the time. For the psychological health of the teams and the Club as a whole, grievances need to be handled between the parties involved and the decision makers in the situation. 4. Any member who is approached and asked to listen to or express an opinion about matters between two other parties in the Club is strongly encouraged to refer the complaining party to take the matter up with the appropriate Head Coach or the Athletic Director. Page 9 of 10 as of 01/28/2013

5. Any member who, as a third party, hears remarks or stories about Chaos Lacrosse, its staff, players, or its policies, that cause the member to be concerned, is encouraged to contact the appropriate Head Coach and/or the Athletic Director. 6. If you, as a parent, are unhappy or concerned about any matter within the Club, you are encouraged to contact one of the main contacts for the Club. Page 10 of 10 as of 01/28/2013
