FALL 2018 Cutting Edge of Fitness - Indian Ridge! Unprecedented membership growth, reten on of exis ng members and the strategic posi oning of Indian Ridge Country Club in a compe ve private club market, directed the decision to expand our golf, fitness and SPA facili es during the summer of 2018. We have been innova ve and successful in providing our members with the luxury lifestyle they expect and enjoy - most recently, with the expansion of our Health & Fitness Center that is like none other in the Valley! This drama c transforma on into an excep onal upscale fitness facility was designed to complement the contemporary feel of the Health & Fitness Center lobby remodel that was completed last summer and the main Clubhouse that was completed the year before. Our goal was to provide our members with a state-of-the-art workout experience, expanding the exis ng facility by an addi onal 2,000 square feet to the gym and u lizing the latest fitness industry equipment. The increased space will accommodate all disciplines, including floor work, stretching, personal training and all of our new equipment. A newly dedicated Pilates Studio has been unveiled with four Reformers for small group classes and private sessions. We have maximized use of space and ameni es by adding a dedicated Spin Studio and a mul -purpose Private Func onal Training Room. This is in addi on to the exis ng group exercise room, Pilates Studio and newly expanded gym. Our fitness class schedule will be increased this season to offer up to 45 classes a week. Indian Ridge members will enjoy the use of industry-leading TechnoGym equipment including: Treadmills, recumbent and upright bikes, StepClimbers, Skill Rowers Kinesys One Cable units for full body workouts in all planes of mo on InBody 570 scale for advanced physical analysis measuring body fat percentage, total muscle mass, total body water, and more Best-in-class free weight system PreCor Ellip cals, 2 Peloton bikes, and a TRX Suspension System Members will enjoy individual TVs and Internet access with Bluetooth connec vity on the new equipment. Your Club Board, General Manager and dedicated staff have worked hard throughout the summer to Make 2019 the Best Ever Indian Ridge Member Experience! We have listened to member sugges ons, commi ee & staff input and believe we have enhanced our luxury lifestyle to be second to none in the Valley. Indian Ridge has enjoyed excep onal membership growth the last several years. That growth, combined with strong home sales, puts the Club in an extremely solid financial posi on and allows us to achieve many of the goals the Board established for this season. An enhanced golf experience We have built a new indoor Golf Performance Center on the south range featuring a teaching and club fi ng facility added a second short game prac ce facility near Grove 15 and boast an excep onal golf staff to bring your game to its best ever. A new and expanded Health & Fitness Center - Our new fitness facility is one of the best in the Valley. With more than 2,000 addi onal square feet of workout space, it includes: an enlarged stretching area state-of-the art cardio equipment a dedicated Pilates Studio with reformers a Spin Studio and mul -purpose Private Func onal Training room and more fitness classes, instructors and trainers. Newly expanded and remodeled SPA treatment areas - The Hair and Nail Salons have undergone a major renova on, more than tripling their square footage, with an unmatched interior design, accommoda ng four new hair and two new manicure/pedicure sta ons. Excep onal dining experience - Our skilled culinary team has worked diligently this summer to con nue eleva ng the Indian Ridge dining experience, with a focus on our three key elements: Quality, Consistency and Service An inclusive, vital and growing Club - We have created an environment that is warm and welcoming with many opportuni es to connect new members with tenured members. There is a great sense of camaraderie, ac vity and fun at Indian Ridge. Financial stability and sustainability - We con nue to work closely with the HOA/PUD Boards and the Community Planning Commi ee to maintain the community s unified approach, which leads to financial stability and sustainability, with a focus on aesthe c beauty. This enables ongoing capital improvements to our Club and community. My husband Jim and I are pleased to call Indian Ridge home. I m extremely proud of all of the ameni es Indian Ridge has to offer to its members. We are, and con nue to be, one of the most sought a er golf and lifestyle communi es in the Valley. Hair and Nails Take Center Stage at The Spa With more members than ever u lizing the services of The SPA at the Ridge, an expansion of the facili es was in order. This summer, The SPA underwent an amazing transforma on to reconfigure, enlarge and remodel the hair and nail salons, giving The SPA a fresh and contemporary vibe. The square footage in the salons has more than tripled, giving the modern space an a rac ve, open feel. Last season, SPA Director Jenna Larson, SPA Commi ee Chair Diana Stubbs and GM Hall Wade began developing a vision to op mize underu lized space adjacent to The SPA to increase availability of services for members and their guests. The result is nothing short of remarkable and was a cost-effec ve project, u lizing both exis ng interior space as well as the sub-contractors who were working on-site with our Health & Fitness Center expansion. Members and their guests can now indulge in our spectacular facili es which includes: 4 beau ful new hair styling sta ons with styling chairs 3 shampoo sta ons with fully reclining, comfortable shampoo chairs, shampoo bowls, and back bar 2 new matching pedicure sta ons with Italian leather power seats, iridescent crystal basins, massage and USB ports 2 new beau ful manicure sta ons with a full array of new nail color selec ons New Processing Table with styling chairs that accommodate up to 3 members at one me New Color Lab with Internet access to make perfect color selec ons ipads to browse the latest styles Addi onally, Members can purchase their favorite SPA product lines in our SPA retail shop, including: Davines, Fiji & Oribe. Our team of talented therapists, technicians and stylists can fulfill your sense of relaxa on, pampering and beauty this season at The SPA at the Ridge! SPA appointments can now be made online through the Indian Ridge website. The Women s Atrium Gets a New Look The Women s Atrium in the Locker Room at the Health & Fitness Center underwent its own transforma on this summer with new décor, flooring, wall color, accent le, ceiling fans, art work, chaise lounges with accent pillows, and trellis with draping fabric. The modern design of our enclosed, open-air atrium offers members and their guests a pleasing venue to relax or enjoy a Jacuzzi or cold plunge before or a er a SPA service or workout. 3
What s Happening Around the Ridge Indian Ridge Drive Landscaping Another project we are excited about for the coming season benefits all residents. Director of Golf Course Maintenance Steve Seils and his staff have completed significant landscaping enhancements to the perimeter of the golf course along Indian Ridge Drive at holes 1, 2 and 3 on the Grove Course. The exis ng plant material was replaced to maintain the beauty of our Club and community. We also transi oned from overhead to drip irriga on, installed hardware and so ware to help manage course irriga on and GPS mapped 4,500+ main irriga on heads on the golf courses. This is an ongoing and significant ac on to conserve water and meet the Coachella Valley Water District s commitment to decrease golf course water u liza on 10% by year 2020. The transi on to drip irriga on for landscaped areas also reduces overspray on our community streets, which mi gates asphalt erosion. 9th Tee Ordering We ve added menus and phone numbers on the 9th tee of both courses for convenient cell phone ordering of food and beverage from JK s Café and Arnie s. Food will be ready for pick-up at the turn, helping members maintain their posi on and pace of play on the course. Indian Ridge Travel Club in Alaska Every member is invited to experience adventures with the Indian Ridge Travel Club. 2019 takes the Travel Club to Portugal and Spain through the Douro River Valley. Twenty-five couples have already signed up for this next great adventure! We will travel by river cruise on Uniworld Bou que River Cruise Collec on for this unique experience, September 5-15, 2019. This summer, members enjoyed the iconic wonders of Alaska on the exclusive Seabourn Sojourn for our sixth trip. The amazing excursions included kayaking beside glaciers, landing on a glacier via helicopter to sled with dogs training for the Iditarod, catamaran tours beside whales and orcas, up close with bears catching salmon in a river, and zip lining through treetops. Social events on board included fabulous dining from a caviar on ice deck party to in mate dinners in the Thomas Keller restaurant. It was an inspiring adventure with perfect weather. 4
Personal Training Seeing a Great Increase Members love our trainers and are taking full advantage of our ameni es. We ve added an addi onal trainer to our team and created packages for many of our fitness offerings. Packages are a great benefit for members showing dedica on to their well-being. Palmer Pa o Enhanced for Evening Aesthe cs This summer we enhanced our popular Palmer Pa o with decora ve ligh ng elements, which adds significantly to the aesthe c appeal in the evening. Addi ons included a new chandelier, beau ful sconces, decora ve backlit urns in our two niches, monument lights on the pa o perimeter, under ligh ng at the Bar and fanciful table lights. Our chair cushions and umbrellas were replaced to match the furniture at the fire pits we added last summer. Addi onal Renova ons Around the Ridge Over the summer, we remodeled the restroom facili es at the Club s Pool Complex, Bocce Ball Courts and the #10 tee box on the Grove course. At Grove #10 we also installed a water and ice machine for easy access on the course. The improvements to Grove #10 were accomplished with the significant coopera on of the HOA and PUD. Indian Ridge also has a talented team of Golf Professionals which are second to none. We are proud to say that Indian Ridge has one of the most ac ve lesson programs in the Valley. With the large number of members enjoying instruc on at the Club, we will maintain both of our teaching venues on the north Range and the south Range. Both teaching facili es will have Doppler Radar technology through our FlightScope launch monitors. This unparalleled golf performance program will benefit all members in various ways. Golf members have unlimited access to all facili es at any me. Club Members have access to the prac ce facili es a er 1:00 pm during the season (no restric ons from June 1 to October 1). Club and Social Members interested in learning golf or improving their skills have access to private and group instruc on with our Professional Teaching Staff. Club and Social Members can enhance their membership to include golf privileges with our Single Season Upgrade op on for one trial season. Noted as one of the top 50 LPGA teachers in 2017-2018, Jamie will be joining us as Co-Director of Instruc on - LPGA Member from Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois. Jamie will be working alongside Reeve Krikke, Director of Instruc on - PGA Member and brings a wealth of experience to Indian Ridge. Jamie has enjoyed a successful playing career a er gradua ng from the University of Texas. She has competed in three U.S. Women s Opens and four LPGA Championships. Jamie is a four- me winner of the LPGA Midwest Sec on Championship and has recorded four top-ten finishes in the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Na onal Championship. She has won several awards for her teaching exper se. Her students range in level from complete beginners to those playing in the professional ranks. We are extremely excited to have Jamie join us at Indian Ridge and look forward to the benefits she will provide to our members. 7

Experience Indian Ridge - Friday, March 1 - Sunday, March 3, 2019 There couldn t be a more appropriate tle for this fun-filled weekend, designed specifically for poten al members who are ac vely looking for a desert home and private club! This will be our 11th annual by invita on only event and is intended to introduce our future members to the many great ameni es, ac vi es, facili es and people that make Indian Ridge such a special place to live and play! Throughout the weekend of March 1, 2 and 3, our invited guests will enjoy exhibi on Pickleball, a Mardi Gras themed poolside recep on, chef-prepared lunches and a Love Boat themed party. Guests will also be able to personally experience fitness classes, our new gym, SPA treatments, tennis, Pickleball, bocce and great golf on both of our courses. In addi on, we will offer a ernoon open houses throughout the community from 1:00 4:00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Scholarship Fund Make a Difference Weekend March 30-31, 2019 This weekend is a great way to have a good me while showing support for our amazing Indian Ridge Country Club staff! The Indian Ridge Scholarship Fund provides grants for higher educa on to the children of our employees. The Fund s big Make a Difference weekend includes a gala Casino Night and dinner on Saturday night, March 30, and your choice of a fun 9-hole golf, pickleball or tennis tournament followed by lunch on Sunday, March 31.
