Central AAU will have 2 separate qualifying tournaments for AGE-BASED & GRADE- BASED this spring season 2018. See tournament schedule with PLAYER ELIGIBILTY RULES. The AAU National Office is happy to provide FREE Coaches Education for all AAU Non- Athletes. This exciting program is administered by Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), using their Double-Goal Coach online courses. A Double-Goal Coach has two goals: the first is to win, but the second, more important goal, is to teach life lessons through sports. All registered non-athletes will take this free course as part of gaining membership into the AAU. The AAU is proud to be a leader in the youth sports market and looks forward as being the trendsetter in coach education in years to come. All players and coaches must have an AAU card. Individual cards are $14.00 or $16.00 per player, $16.00 or $18.00 per coach plus a team/club fee of either $30, $60 or $300. $30.00 registers your club (this can include more than one team) to play in our AAU State Tournament and makes your club eligible to request the purchase of practice insurance. You must register online at www.aauboysbasketball.org Remember, your team is not covered by AAU insurance until they have paid their registration fees. Now is the time to register your team so they are covered by AAU insurance for the entire season. Your players AAU card insures them from September 1 through August 31 of the following year.
