TECHNICAL INFO POOMSAE: On-line registration: www.tkd-reg.com. Changes cannot be made after deadline. The competitors who are registered for year 2015 and have a valid physical (not older than 6 months) have the right to participate. Competition is going to be held in two (2) classes: A class black belts (1 st Dan/Poom and ) B class colour belts (from 8 th 1 st Geup) * exception: A class Children 1 (m/f) colour belts (4 th Geup and ) Draw for A class will be announced on Thursday, 29 th October 2015. All A class contestants must present their Kukkiwon card on registration or a written confirmation. Otherwise he/she won t be able to participate. All Poomsae for B class for all age categories are given in the table below, contestant choose poomsae. Scores will be given by 5 referees, with exclusion of the highest and the lowest marks. All competitors (A and B class) must have uniforms in accordance with their grade and belt. E.g. competitor cannot have green, blue... belt and black collar. In that case there will be 0.3 points of penalty from the total score before the performance or the competitor can over tape the collar with white tape. The organiser will not be held responsible for all and any injuries, as well as for loss of sports equipment and/or personal documents (e.g. passport, identity card ). On the coaching chair next to the arena can sit only a coach who is licensed. Bad behaviour will be immediately sanctioned according to Disciplinary rules of TAS. COMPETITION COMMITTEE 5
SYSTEM OF COMPETITION A - CLASS: Cut off system 1 st round preliminary: When 20 or more contestants are participating; Contestants shall perform the two assigned compulsory Poomsae, and, half of them from each group shall advance to semi-final based on their points. In preliminary round, each group might be judged by different group of judges. If the number of contestants is odd, then round the number of contestants to make even, e.g. If there are 13 contestants in group, then 13 contestants as considered as 14 contestants, and 7 contestants shall advance to semi-final. nd 2 round semi-final: When 9 to 19 contestants are participating; Competition shall start from semi-final round, Contestants shall perform the two assigned compulsory Poomsae, and, 8 of them shall be advanced to final based on their points. 3 rd round final: When 8 or fewer contestants are participating; Competition shall start from final round. Two Poomsae in accordance with drawing. NOTE : The organiser reserves the right to reduce the number of Poomsae to be performed in the preliminary and the semi-final round to one (1) form. Procedure in case of equal score: In case there is a tied score after the completion of the final round on the rank 1, 2, or 3, the contestant who is awarded more points in presentation shall be declared the winner. In case the score is still tied, then the one who has total points (including highest and lowest points) shall be the winner. If it s still tied then a rematch between the contestants in question shall be conducted. The referee will decide on the Poomsae to be performed (in any case one of the compulsory Poomsae). 6
Free Style Poomsae Competition A-Class Categories The Free Style competition will be started for only Dan/Poom degrees in all age categories. Below an overview of the rules which should be followed: 1. Free Style Poomsae is the performance based on taekwondo techniques with composition of music and choreography 2. Number of Poom: Each performance shall be composed of 20 to 24 poom. (Composition of 1 poom shall be no more than 5 motions.) 3. Technique: Performed techniques must be within boundary of Taekwondo 4. Music & choreography shall be the choice of the contestant. 5. Free Style Poomsae: Individual, Pair, and Mixed Team competitions from 60 - to 70 seconds. However, International Referees interested in officiating at the Serbia Poomsae Kwon Open 2013 can send an e-mail to the Referee Director IR Nebojša Andjelkovic, Reffere_poomsae@tas.org.rs Hotel and full board accommodation from 30 th until 1 th November, 2015 will be provided by the organization for international referees. International Poomsae referees will receive an allowance according STA rules. 9

I do know that Taekwondo is a Full Contact Competition Sport, where injuries cannot be excluded.
