st by 3-year-olds and up, claiming price $6,250, Five Furlongs Edwin Maldonado Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Four Gaels 1. Four Gaels - All the work since the February claim has come going 870 yards under the lights here and he's come away with a pair of scores and two seconds from five tries; last try over the big oval came in December when he was a close 3rd ; best puts him in picture. 2. Mason B - Joined forces with this pilot two weeks ago on the smaller night oval and blew away his rivals at a juicy 14-1; facing a tougher task now and has been off the board in all 4 attempts on this mile layout, but last shows he's headed in the right direction. 3. Bound for Heaven - The only two-time winner over this daytime layout with the most recent coming two back in coastto-coast fashion to close out the summer stand; Martinez will have him right on top of the action from the get-go, but he'll have to dig deep to get the job done. 4. Luckarack - Long-fused veteran knows how to find the winner's circle and it should be noted that in both of his starts over this mile track, he's faced much better company; if more than a couple of these decide to get carried away up front, he will come calling when it counts with Maldonado. 5. Changing Karma - Tough times for this gelding since he posted a 12-1 upset back in February at Santa Anita; chased home a sharp runner and a past classer when 3rd here at the summer stand and then played the role of bystander in a pair of Del Mar outings; owns a win from 9 attempts over this mile layout. 6. Land of the Free - Picked up the place money behind a return victor when last seen here in mid-july; shows a couple of wins for Hernandez here on the night course, surging at crunch time to prevail on those occasions; nicely drawn for a tracking journey and must be considered. 6. Land of the Free 3. Bound for Heaven 4. Luckarach 12 4. Luckarach 6. Land of the Free 3. Bound for Heaven

nd by 3-Year-olds and up, fillies and mares, California-bred, top claiming price $50,000, Five and One-Half Furlongs Hronis Racing LLC Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Right To The Point & Privy 1. Right to the Point - By far the most experienced here making 8th start; has tried a bit of everything, short and long, dirt and turf, and has made some menacing noises; a solid show finish the only time she raced over this track she calls home and should appreciate the return to a dirt sprint. 2. Silic s Angel - Both of her outings have come at the bottom level, with improved speed flashed in the most recent before weakening; another who does her training over this layout and will have to do better. 3. Tribal Finale - Brief interest before giving way in the late July debut at Del Mar, now she drops into claiming company which has proven to be a very profitable move by the Puype barn; no surprise to see this gal make her presence felt with Elliott trying his ha 4. Twenty One Coil St - The only new face in the cast; sire is 5-for-33 with beginners while this is the first to the races for the dam, who won twice from 10 starts for 117K as a racemare; modest San Luis Rey works showing. 5. Privy -Was hammered at the windows in both her starts, battled up top in both those outings and could not quite keep it going at crunch time; finds a very cozy spot today and Sadler trainee could prove an elusive target as she's re-united with Roman. 6. Ruled by Girls - Like Tribal Finale, she exits that state-bred affair captured by Beau Square down at the seaside; beat that rival handily that day despite an awkward start, is nicely drawn under veteran Pedroza and looms large at the course where she resides for Sherman. 5. Privy 1. Right to the Point 6. Ruled By Girls 16 5. Privy 6. Ruled By Girls 1. Right to the Point

rd by 3-year-olds and up, maiden special weight, Six Furlongs Jay Em Ess Stable Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Psychedilicat & Mr Vargas 1. Bardstown - New York-bred has been on the sidelines for 4 years; the chalk in that long-ago debut at Del Mar and put in a good run for 2nd that day; Hess can bring them back ready, he doesn't have to work them fast to accomplish it and he employs his main man Desormeaux. 2. Mr Vargas - Have to like the way this speedster has upped his game with each appearance; following two good tries at Gulfstream, he joined the Koriner barn at Del Mar and lost a tough on over the lawn while battling every step of the way; definitely the one to catch with Roman back at the controls. 3. Psychedilicat - Making 9th stab at the brass ring for King Jerry and has faced some quality runners along the way; has had to settle for nibbles, including a show finish in his debut last December over this strip; turned in a local bullet 3 furlongs since returning from Del Mar. 4. Papa Jazz - One of 2 for Baffert and the only new face in the line-up; he fetched 475K as a yearling; Scat Daddy is a strong debut sire while the dam was 2-for-4 for 58K in her racing days and this is a half-brother to 205K earner Portmasec; should be more than fit with three straight 6-furlong drills showing at the seaside 5. Captain Walker - All three starts have been in claiming company, the last two following a year layoff; stretched out to a mile of Del Mar green for the most recent and and faltered after forcing the issue to the stretch; looking in other directions. 6. Zipman - The other Baffert; took some money when debuting in that same grass dash down south as Mr Vargas, but wasn't nearly as motivated in the early stages and came belatedly for a minor award; every right to move forward with that effort under his belt, more distance to work with and Bejarano back at the helm from a cozy slot. 2. Mr Vargas 6. Zipman 1. Bardstown 18 2. Mr Vargas 6. Zipman 1. Bardstown

th by 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, starter allowance, Five and One-Half Furlongs Sally Rivera Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Rockantharos & Foxy Lover 1. Ryderroo - Hard to get excited about the last couple, although she was facing the boys in that starter affair two back; does have a win from 3 tries over this mile track and the most recent snapshot followed one of those 870 affairs here under the lights in April; has to pick up her game to reach today. 2. Aiming Straight - Looks like she's clearly the one to catch with Martinez; a punctual favorite two back going 870 on the smaller track, then hooked some tough ones in that stakes try over that distance just a week ago; they figure to be looking at her from behind turning for home and she may very well keep going 3. Southern Darling - Suffering through a lengthy dry spell and just hasn't been making any impact while facing softer company than she lines up against today; difficult to endorse. 4. Scathing - Shortened up to a sprint for the Del Mar finale and surged right on the money to get the cheese under new best friend Gonzalez; only start over this layout she showed speed under pressure while routing and gave way; last shows that she's feeling good now and Cerin trainee must be respected right back. 5. Foxy Lover - Northern California invader is the winningest member of the cast with her 8 pictures and shows two solid runner-up efforts at Pleasanton and Santa Rosa following the June claim; should be sitting a nice tracking trip under Garcia and looms a major player in her first attempt over this layout. 6. Rockantharos - Got going a bit too late in the most recent down at the seaside and had to be happy with a show check behind today's rival Scatching; last start over this mile track resulted in a good off-the-pace win vs. easier during the summer session under this apprentice; helps make things interesting. 2. Aiming Straight 5. Foxy Lover 3. Scathing 20 2. Aiming Straight 5. Foxy Lover 3. Scathing

th by 2-Year-Old Fillies, maidens, Five & One Half Furlongs Tommy Town Thoroughbred LLC Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Factorofwon 1. Sea My Moves - Sire is nearly 12% with his first timers from a large sample and both foals from stakes winning dam (8 victories, $416,041) have won. Local work tab extends to June 12, but needs an alert start from this post and stable not known for debut success. 2. Unafforable U - Langfuhr is about 10% with his rookies and all six of dam s prior foals are winners, including Unstoppable U who has earned more than $375,000. Homebred gets an aggressive rider and could come out firing for barn that can have them prepared first time out. 3. Divine Mercy - Finished directly behind next out graduate and recent Del Mar Debutante runner-up Pied Bianchi in debut here two months ago. Locally based filly should benefit from experience and has six listed drills since the race. 4. Line Drive - Line of David is 7% with his rookies and unraced dam has had three winners from four prior foals, including minor stakes winner Temple Fur ($176,108). Sharp local work includes a 58 4/5 gate bullet for stable that has had much local success since thoroughbred racing returned to Los Alamitos in July, 2014. 5. Avail - Sire is 15% with his debuters and dam, who won once in five starts, has produced three winners from five prior foals, the best being Proceed (8- for-11, $468,329). Gets a weight break with apprentice aboard and has some decent works over this surface. 6. Sweet Marlene- Gio Ponti is 13-for-155 with his rookies and dam, who was 0-for-1, has had three winners from five prior foals, including stakes winner Sweet Marini, who holds the track record for 5 1/2 furlongs at Los Alamitos. Moderate works on tab, so prefer to see a race. 7. Shezaspanishdancer- Sire is 16% first time out and dam, who won stakes at ages 3 & 4 in Indiana and Kentucky, has one prior foal who was unraced. Trained locally for Hall of Famer and gets apprentice who led the standings during the 2017 Summer Thoroughbred Festival. 8. Factorofwon- Showed speed before retreating to finish last of nine when 17-1 in debut nearly six weeks ago. Off rail for stable having a solid year and have to respect her zip. 9. Steph Being Steph- Was supported in debut (7-2) won by next out Del Mar Debutante runner-up Pied Bianchi, but was brief factor only. Capable of better and worked a solid five-eighths of a mile over this track one week ago. 10. Creative Spark- Most experienced member of the field makes fourth start and cuts back and returns to dirt after finishing far back in turf route six weeks ago. Two recent bullets at San Luis Rey, but improvement is needed for her to contend. 9. Steph Being Steph 3. Divine Mercy 7. Shezaspanishdancer 22 4. Line Drive 1. Sea My Moves 9. Steph Being Steph

th by 3-Year-Olds & Up, claiming price $6,250, Five & One Half Furlongs Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Warren s Cole & Little Jack Cherisse and Stephen Wolf 1. No Bachi - Completed trifecta when 9-1 going shorter distance at night five days ago. Back quickly, but lacks speed and hasn t won in Southern California since defeating $2,500 claimers May 28, 2016 when trained by Jose Moreno. 2. Apollo Ten - Idle over a year since finishing ninth of 10 when nearly 26-1 vs. more expensive claimers. Has lost 13 in a row since defeating $20,000 claimers Oct. 17, 2015 when trained by Jack Carava. Has six listed local drills since July 29 for return and could fire his best shot fresh for a high percentage stable. 3. Parliamentarian - Trailed when last seen at higher level nearly two months ago in first since being claimed for $5,000 from Angela Aquino. Speedy gelding has one way to go, but has done his best work at night at shorter distances. Hasn t won at this trip since defeating $8,000 claimers May 17, 2015 when trained by Bruce Headley. 4. Badasmywifeletsmeb - Blanking in 12 starts this year and has lost 47 of 50 lifetime, but one of those wins did come during the 2016 Winter meet when he won at nearly 19-1 for this price tag. Trailed under the lights in most recent appearance 20 days ago, so a turnaround is needed. 5. Warren s Cole - Ran well to be second for this price tag in two starts during the Summer Thoroughbred Festival in July before failing to threaten when fourth at shorter trip at night less than two weeks ago. Hampered by lack of speed and usually settles for minor prizes. Prefer others. 6. Put It There - Veteran is a 15-time winner, but has done most of his damage under the lights, including a victory vs. cheaper nearly two months ago. Should be a pace presence, but hasn t been close in two starts over this track during the daytime. 7. Voluntary - Flees the rail after chasing eventual repeater Cat From Iraq under the lights four weeks ago. Broke his maiden on this surface during the 2014 Los Angeles County Fair meet and is up in price in second since being claimed for $5,000 from Ricardo Guillen. 8. Little Jack - Rolled threes in two most recent starts and was beaten a head for the place in latest 13 nights ago. Trying to end an eight-race losing streak since being claimed from Tim McCanna out of a win vs. $3,200 claimers March 9 on the Tapeta surface at Golden Gate Fields. 7. Voluntary 8. Little Jack 2. Apollo Ten 24 7. Voluntary 5. Warren s Cole 8. Little Jack

th by 3-Year-Olds & Up, fillies & mares, California bred or sired, allowance/claiming, claiming price $20,000, Five & One Half Furlongs Rafael Bejarano Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Adios Cali 1. Journeyonthemove - Trailed when returning to turf five weeks ago, but could bounce back with the return to the track on which she won a restricted claimer as the 6-5 favorite during the Summer Thoroughbred Festival in July. Should be a pace factor, but would need to improve to challenge for the top prize. 2. Divine Spark - Idle for Hall of Fame trainer since finishing fifth of seven in an optional claimer more than six months ago. Defeated at evenmoney in Los Alamitos debut last Dec. 10, losing by a half-length to Adios Cali. Sharp local drills on tab, including a 1:12. 4/5 gate drill 13 days ago. Player off the bench. 3. Mizzen Glory - Shelved since finishing fifth of six when chasing hillside specialist Algorhythmic four months ago on the Santa Anita turf. Proven fresh and over this track as she scored when 6-1 in her career debut during the 2016 LACF meet when trained by Cliff Sise, Jr. 4. Bold At Night - Pressed pace and weakened to finish fourth of eight when returning from a layoff of more than seven months 16 days ago. Won two starts by a combined 12 lengths in Arizona prior the hiatus when trained by Eric Kruljac. Wasn t a factor in two earlier starts in Southern California, so looking elsewhere. 5. Papa Mambo - Steps up after being claimed for $12,500 from Brian Koriner when splitting the field 22 days ago. Blew out sharply over this track Aug. 31 and was defeated by a nose vs. restricted claimers in only other start here during the 2016 Los Angeles County Fair meet. 6. Victory Seeker - Bobbled at the break, then raced wide when finishing eighth of nine when 5-1 one month ago. Winless in three races in Southern California as both victories have come at Fresno and on the Tapeta surface at Golden Gate Fields. Goes for new connections after being claimed for $20,000 from Andy Mathis. 7. Adios Cali - Returns to the scene of her debut victory (Dec. 10, 2016) attempting to end a six-race losing streak. Winless since being claimed from Peter Miller for $40,000 out of a score 4 1/2 months ago. Finished directly behind next out turf winner Merrily Merrily when third in last local appearance during the July meet. 3. Mizzen Glory 5. Papa Mambo 2. Divine Spark 26 7. Adios Cali 2. Divine Spark 3. Mizzen Glory

th by 3-Year-Olds & Up, fillies & mares, maidens,. top claiming price $20,000, One Mile Art Sherman Top Recent Equibase Speed Figure at this distance: Warrior Vixen 1. Mysteriousmagician - Shows up tagged for the first time after pressing the issue and fading going shorter distance two weeks ago at Golden Gate Fields. Bullet work over this track as he stretches beyond six furlongs for the first time in her career and could get brave vs. this lesser company under apprentice who led the jockey standings during the July meet. 2. Curlina Curlina - Homebred with 16 defeats makes first appearance since finishing fifth of seven when 5-2 at this level nearly two months ago. Well clear when runner-up behind eventual repeater Adaptability two starts ago, Can share, but tough to take on the win end. 3. Princess Nicole - Chased eventual repeater Online Request in best effort yet when second at 11-1 nearly for months ago. Finished 5 1/2 lengths clear of Curlina Curlina that day, but will have to deal with quicker fractions this time. Dangerous if able to duplicate last, but siding against. 4. Amaranta - Split field for this price tag 23 days ago and returns to track on which she was second as the favorite July 16. Worked a bullet half mile for productive stable four mornings ago and has to be considered a contender under her regular rider. 5. Riverka - Far back when 67-1 in same race Amaranta exits. Devoid of early speed and should be a hefty price once more. Pass. 6. Silken Road - Tries more ground after failing to threaten in a pair of sprints, the latest four weeks ago. Would be a surprise. 7. Oh Scatty Oh - Opened up clear lead, but weakened in the final eighth of a mile to wind up third when 3-1 in race taken by a closer. Gets one of the circuit s best speed riders and is a threat to take these all the way. 8. Grace Hopper - Returns to the level at which she was a troubled second at a shorter distance two outs ago after finishing fifth of seven vs. stronger one month ago. Better fit with these. 9. Gift Giver Linda - Lowered in price and switches surfaces again after finishing sixth of nine vs. stronger 22 days ago. Softer company should help as she makes initial attempt on dirt. Beat one home in Polytrack debut July 22 at Arlington Park when trained by Wesley Ward. 10. Colonel Peggy Sue - Finished a half-length behind Amaranta last month and chased that rival two races ago when third for this price tag here July 16. Locally based filly can collect a piece. 11. Of Note - Runner-up at 7-1 behind Quiet No More when dropped to this plateau 23 days ago. Contender from close range if she gets to play. 12. Warrior Vixen - Has never competed this cheap and looms one to defeat if the scratches are kind. Completed trifecta when 7-2 vs. stronger a month ago and worked twice in the interim at San Luis Rey. 12. Warrior Vixen 1. Mysteriousmagician 7. Oh Scatty Oh 28 2. Washington Road 8. Where s the Trophy 4. My Farmer
