Kachina Elementary Kindergarten Round Up Night TUESDAY, MARCH 1ST 5:30-7:00 P.M. If your child will be 5 years old on or before August 31st then it s time to register them for Kindergarten for the 2011-2012 school year. If you have neighbors that do not have children currently attending Kachina, please pass this information onto them. Also please let your friends and co-workers know about this registration. We welcome open enrollments. Registration for the 2011-2012 school year for Kindergarten begins on February 22, 2011 from 8:30 3:30. Kachina will be holding an evening registration for those that are not able to attend during school hours. This evening registration will be held on Tuesday, March 1st from 5:30 7:00 p.m. in our Library. Please feel free to bring your child with you. Refreshments will be served. Our Kindergarten teachers will be on hand to provide a tour of the classrooms and answer any questions you may have. Below is a list of the items that need to be brought to register your child. We look forward to seeing you to register your child at Kachina. For your convenience you can access Enrollment Forms from our website and complete them early. Forms are available at www.pusd11.org On the district site select Enrollment Information from the bottom right hand side, then select Elementary Enrollment Packet. Bring the completed forms to Kachina along with the required documentation listed below. Please bring the following items with you so that you can register your student for the 2011-2012 school year. KACHINA BOYS SOFTBALL TEAM 2010-2011 The Kachina Boys' Softball Team has gotten off to a great start this season. We had a great turnout for team tryouts this year with 17 players making the final roster. The team continues to make great strides in practice, meeting after school 4 times per week. Everyone is improving with each day, both individually and as a team. The softball experience is proving to be a very motivating factor both academically and athletically. The coaches and players are looking forward to a fun, successful season. Come out and support your 2011 Kachina Cougar Boys' Softball Team! We want to know your ideas about improving the Playground areas and how we might fund these changes. Use the Survey in the Office or just write down your suggestions and bring them in.
