Women s Club Womens' Club will meet on the 3 rd Monday of the month, November 21 st. We are proposing an off-site trip this month with a tour of the luxury London Dream Home, preceded by lunch. The home was built by Wastell Homes, with input from Mike Holmes of HGTV fame and will be the prize in the Dream Home Lottery in support of London's hospitals. The home tour is free, but if you wish to purchase lottery tickets the cost is 2/ $50, 6/ $100 16/ $250. Information from the Features Committee The applicants were reviewed with the Features Committee on Friday, October 21 st with members present from all 3 condo corps and TVSC, as well as property management. It was decided that: Committee members will be: From #73: Rose Santini, Gaile Pippo and Carol Cameron From #80: Fay McClure and Rhona Curry From #107: Lyn Oliver and Lee Sander Carol Cameron has been appointed by the Features Committee to act as chair of the Rec Center Committee. These appointments are effective October 21, 2016. On behalf of the Features Committee, I want to thank all residents who applied to serve on the Rec Center committee. The Community Center is a beautiful addition to the Sally Creek Community and serving on it takes dedication and a willingness to serve. Please note that Larry Oliver from OCECC # 107 is the new chair of the Features Committee.

VON SMART Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together The VON SMART Exercise Program is a safe and effective Exercise and Fall Prevention Program designed specifically for seniors 55 and older. These classes aim to improve muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance and functional balance to assist in the prevention of falls and fall related injuries. Our SMART classes consist of: A thorough warm up A cardiovascular component A cool-down Strength and balance training exercises Stretching Falls Prevention education The great news is there is No Charge to Participate. Victoria Quilts Sewing/Quilting Days Thursday November 3 and 17 This is a non-profit group that meets the first and third Thursday of each month from 10:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Bring a bag lunch. TGIF Happy Hour TGIF will be held only twice a month starting in November the first and third Friday of the month with no potluck. Nine & Dine The Sally Creek Residents Nine and Dine has been revised for the 2017 Golf Season. Tee times for this event will return to Friday afternoons with dining occurring at Sally Creek Bistro biweekly. The golf will take place as a modified shotgun teams will tee off on holes 1, 2, 3 and 9. NEW in 2017: Hitting Net Construction of our Warm-up Hitting Net will begin in November 2016 to be ready for Spring 2017. To Close, this Summer we have experienced abnormally hot temperatures and a severe lack of precipitation. Our Groundskeeper, Jeff Schultz, and his staff have done an immaculate job keeping the course in beautiful shape throughout the season.
