Stay tuned, Your REMUS-Team Business Award 2010 for REMUS When the entire motor-bike scene meets up to celebrate in dinner jacket and evening gown, it s time for the celebration of the yearly awards handed out by the Austrian motor bike consortium the umbrella association of the Austrian motor bike importers and the motor bike industry. Awards are given for special merits in the field of safety, business, ambassador, sports and media. Angelika Kresch (CEO REMUS) was honoured in the business category. The team spirit within the motor bike sector is outstanding many business partners have turned into friends. This award is a great honour, comments the awardee. REMUS pilots successful on all race tracks around the world Raimund Baumschlager and copilot Thomas Zeltner are leading the Austrian Rally Championship The first three rounds of the Austrian Rally Championship were dominated by the multiple Austrian Champion Raimund Baumschlager and his experienced copilot Thomas Zeltner. His former protégé and P-WRC-World Champion Andreas Aigner, who also participates with copilot Daniela Weissengruber in the Austrian Championship, was able to challenge Raimund Baumschlager. Andreas Aigner convinced with some special-stage minimum times in front of his master. Norbert Siedler wins Porsche Supercup in Barcelona The Porsche Supercup, which takes place at the European Formula 1 weekends, has an Austrian winner. REMUS pilot Norbert Siedler was able to secure his first victory in the Porsche Supercup race in Barcelona. Due to hasty action of other drivers resulting in a penalty for Sean Edwards, but also with excellent driving performance Norbert Siedler was able to take his well earned first win in this competitive championship. REMUS newcomer Martin Karlhofer successful at ADAC GT-Masters Martin Karlhofer the youngest new member of the REMUS racing squad convinced at his first race in the ADAC GT- Masters at the Sachsenring with outstanding performance. Together with his experienced team mate Sascha Bert he was able to take fourth place in the first race on Saturday. In the main race on Sunday the duo surprisingly secured third place with their Callaway-Corvette ZR06R.
REMUS Superbike and Supersport riders successful at the season opening of the International German Motorcycle Championship At the IDM season opening REMUS riders took victories in Superbike and Supersport races at the Eurospeedway Lausitz. The former world champion Karl Muggeridge from Australia was able to secure two wins in the Superbike class on his REMUS equipped Honda CBR 1000 RR. His compatriot Damian Cudlin won the Supersport race on his Yamaha R6 in unstoppable manner. Both riders like many other riders and teams trust in the high performance exhaust systems of REMUS. At the same event the first round of the German Yamaha R6 Cup took place, where REMUS as technical partner supplies the whole crowd with the well-proven Yamaha R6 full system.. The publishing house Delius Klasing (Tuning and VW Speed magazine) has created a new Tuning-award that was presented for the first time on the Tuning World Bodensee (Germany). More than 25.000 online voters gave their vote to the brand REMUS in the category best sport exhaust. Our REMUS partner in Germany had the honour to receive the price in the course of an evening event. A great achievement for REMUS that highlights the successful costumer relationship and the REMUS marketing strategy. New car and motor bike catalogue has arrived! TUNING WORLD BODENSEE Germany 2010 From 13 th to 16 th May 2010 the Tuning World Bodensee opened its doors for motorsport fans and tuning freaks. More than 100.000 visitors arrived to get brand-new information about what s hot and not within the tuning sector. The REMUS stand was definitely a must-see for tuning fans and offered new developments like the REMUS CAT BACK SYSTEM for GOLF VI, Nissan GT-R, Scirocco III with the STREET RACE tailpipe design (a combination of stainless steel and carbon application) or Power Sound sport exhaust systems with mechanical and exchangeable tail pipes. Also the REMUS POWERIZER the electronic power management that enables, via optimized mapping parameters a significant increase in horsepower and torque was highly demanded by the REMUS fans. Tribute to REMUS trainees All REMUS trainees with outstanding training school certificates were recently being honoured and awarded participation at the REMUS Race Day as co-pilots in one of the REMUS race taxis. The enthusiasm was huge as well as the motivation to finish the next certificate as good as this one. Angelika Kresch (CEO REMUS), Natalie Kobos (tool manufacturing technician), Markus Geissler (tool manufacturing technician), Sabrina Seidl (industrial manager), Karl Kaspar (tutor) REMUS Race Day on Pannonia Ring (Hungary) On 6 th March REMUS opened up the motorsport season 2010 on the pannonia ring. Through the course of the day car and motorbike drivers had the possibility to experience the race track with their own vehicles. No matter if racing newcomer or ambitioned hobby pilot everybody was welcome and could discover driving on the race track in a relaxed atmosphere. Moreover, REMUS Racing pilots like the legendary Raphael Sperrer or Newcomer Michael Kogler were giving tips to the participants and helped through the first rounds. The real speed freaks could be co-pilots in one of the REMUS race taxis and experience the pannonia ring in racing tempo with one of the REMUS Racing pilots. The exciting day was rounded off by a concert of the rock singer Inez and her band.
