Hidden Cove Sportsplex Location: 70 Ken Hayes Dr., Bourbonnais, IL Hidden Cove Sportsplex is right off of Interstate 57 at the Bradley Bourbonnais Exit 315 From The North: Take Interstate 57 south to the Bradley Bourbonnais Exit 315. Turn left (north) on route 50. At the 2nd light turn right into North Field Square Mall. Once you enter the mall you will turn right and follow the circle around to the back of the mall were you will see the sportsplex on your right. From The South: Take Interstate 57 north to the Bradley Bourbonnais Exit 315. Turn right (north) on route 50. At the 1st light turn right into North Field Square Mall. Once you enter the mall you will turn right and follow the circle around to the back of the mall were you will see the sportsplex on your right. Tournament Info: 8:00 a.m. Registration Begins 8:30 a.m. Black Belt Meeting 9:00 a.m. Tournament Begins Pre-registration: On or Before November 18 th - $50.00 for all events. Registration: After November 18 th and at the door - $60.00 for all events. Mini Junior Event: 8 years and under Mini Kid Event - $25.00 Pre- Registration is mandatory. NO day of event registration. All ranks will do a guided demo of karate skills of their level. All competitors will receive two foot trophies. Adult Spectators: $10 each. Under 3 FREE. Day of Event Registration is Cash only! On The Floor: Tournament competitors must stay seated around their rings during events. Spectators are not allowed on the tournament floor at any time. If the floor becomes congested, the tournament will be stopped for safety until the rules are observed. During Competition: There will be no coaching whatsoever for insure the safety or the competitors. One representative instructor or assistant from each dojo will be allowed to attend their competitors at ringside for assistance only. : Protective foam covered gear mandatory (Head, Hand & Foot). Mouth piece and groin protection males) mandatory. All Ranks: LIGHT head gear contact permitted NO frontal face contact. ABSOLUTELY NO FACE CONTACT Two minute rounds, 5 points wins. 1 point punches, 2 points for kicks. Black Belts: Two minutes, accumulated points (6-pt mercy rule). ILLEGAL TACTICS: Fouls must be determined by a minimum of 3 judges. Controlled (light) contact only to the head will be permitted in all advanced divisions above 16 years old. No head contact in any division below 16-17 year old Advanced. Absolutely no head butts, hair pulling, scratching, elbow strikes, knee strikes, biting, attacking nerve points with fingers, any sweep higher than mid-calf level, kicking a downed player, any blind technique, neck cranks, no respiratory chokes or small joint locks (finger). Illegal striking areas; Eyes, nose, neck, throat, spine, kidneys, groin, and all joints are all illegal striking areas. Points Are Awarded as Follows: 1.
