Demand was light to moderate with but buyer inquiries significantly increased from previous weeks. Most demand coming from feedlots and smaller buyers. Grass hay demand also improved this week for higher quality offerings. Oklahoma's first winter storm of the year brought mostly light snow in western and central counties. This was the first hard freeze of the year. Winter wheat progress remains well behind last year: Planted acreage at 84 percent is 9 points lower and emergence at 75 percent is down 15 points from last year. Alfalfa Central Oklahoma: Premium quality 200.00-220.00. Good quality large square and large round bales 180.00-200.00. Fair quality 140.00-160.00. Eastern Oklahoma: No sales reported. Western Oklahoma: Premium quality large square bales 200.00-220.00. Good quality large round and large square bales 180.00-200.00. Grinding hay 140.00-150.00.
