He was very lonely at home. His mother used to take him to the nearby park but John could never make friends. It was so difficult for him to play and jump around with other kids. He would stay in one corner with his mother. But he liked to watch the children in the park. One day a girl came up to him and asked, What is your name? The boy replied shyly My name John. She caught his hand and pulled him towards the children playing, Ring a ring roses But John did not let go of his mother s hand. He started crying and went home. Next day, the door bell rang. Who is it? called out John. It was the little girl Nancy from the park. She smiled and shook hand with him. John was happy to see her. He took her to his toy room. He had a cricket set.
