Alcoholic Beverages Participating drivers and crew members are not permitted to consume alcoholic beverages while the Participant is still racing. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in RESTRICTED AREAS! Auto Start Once both vehicles are pre-staged and the first vehicle stages, the second car has ten seconds to stage before the tree is automatically activated. This predetermined amount of time is referred to as "Time Out". If the second car fails to stage before the system "Times Out" it will be given a red light. Bogey Race Bogey race is contested during the final time trial of all ET Bracket Championship Series events. Cost is $5.00 per entrant; bogey event is optional. The winner is chosen by the best package of the session, tie-breaker is the best reaction time of the two. If all winners have the same reaction time and same package, purse will be split amongst the entrants and bye run will be decided by card draw. Burn Outs All burn outs must be within the designated areas only and using water only. Crew members are NOT permitted to hold or touch the vehicle during the burn out. Only those vehicles allowed to do so by the current NHRA Rulebook are permitted to cross the Starting Line during their burn out. Buybacks First Round losers have the option of buying back. Buybacks will run in Round 2 of Eliminations. We will call Buybacks to separate lanes in order to collect buyback money in the lanes. It will NOT be a separate round this year. Winners will be run first. Bye Runs The Winner of the Bogey Race will receive the Bye Run in the first round. If even numbers of cars run, the Bye Run will carry over until it is used. Bye Runs will be picked by computer according to best reaction time from the previous round. You can receive only one Bye Run per race. One second will be added to the reaction time of any racer who already had a bye, to ensure that one driver does not qualify for two bye runs. If bogey race is not run, then it will be a random draw of a tech card for 1 st round. Class Specifications (All Classes) Stutter boxes and Timed Down Track Throttle Stops prohibited. Lane Choice in Eliminations Lane Choice is determined by which lane you enter if two staging lanes of opposite sides are full. If vehicles are in single file, lane choice is determined by the first car out of the staging lane. Once paired by computer, lane choice will be decided by Reaction Time from the previous round of competition. One second will be added to the reaction time of any racer who already had a Bye to ensure that one driver does not qualify for more than one Bye Run. However, this one second addition will not affect who gets lane choice. Lane Choice will be based on actual reaction times from the previous round. Lane Choice for Time Trials The lane you enter determines lane choice. Lanes 1, 3, 5, and 7 will put you in the left lane. Lanes 2, 4, 6, and 8 will put you in the right lane. Final lane choice will be determined by Track Officials. Pairing Super Pro, Pro(F/B), Pro Bike and Junior Dragster will be paired by computer starting with 8 cars or less based on Reaction Time from the previous round of competition. Run Order and lane choice will also be determined by reaction time with 8 cars or less. Juniors will be paired by random card draw until they reach 8 cars or less.
