By joining Club O Raghallaigh you are making a valuable contribution to the future of our club. We have fiercely dedicated groups of young players from P1 through to Minors who simply do not miss their training sessions. This is a great way to have it, players wanting to train, wanting to play, sorting other things around their football so that putting on the sky blue and navy jersey is their first priority. 2017 was another action-packed year on the youth front. While it was our Centenary Year, we had great success with our U16s winning their league while five other teams reached finals, three of these finals were level at full time before we suffered narrow losses in extra time. Competitive matches alone for our Teams from U10 s to Minors seen 97 games played. That s just matches, there is training twice or three times a week with some players overlapping between teams and competitions and at the height of it all, some were on the field 5 days/nights in the week. It takes a phenomenal commitment from our coaches, our players and our parents to ensure that everyone is where they need to be at the time they need to be there, prepped for the session or the game, kitted out, ready for action. We thank one and all for their efforts. Paul McGrath Youth Officer The National Feile na nog Competition proved a highlight in the past year with both our Girls & Boys Under 14 sides representing both the club and the county fantastically well over that weekend. Hosting Scotland Ladies & Wolfe Tones from Armagh enabled our kids to experience other cultures, clubs and make friendships they wouldn t make if it weren t for their involvement in our club. The Girls exploits at the Feile got them to the Kilmacud 7 s later in the year, a weekend in Meath and Dublin, they ll not forget in a hurry. For me the most important thing is to instil a spirit and togetherness within a group of players and provide them with a high level energetic coaching environment which will help these players reach their potential while having plenty of craic along the way. Our Youth mantra is With Hard Work There Are No Limits and our players epitomise this every single day. I feel the environment has been created for our youngsters to go express themselves and flourish as people as well as players. This is something we need to ensure continues. Great progress has been made with all our sides playing and competing at the highest level they can within their age brackets. Your support for all our projects and events is always greatly appreciated, Club O Raghallaigh has several benefits outlined in this pack, if it s something you feel you can sign up to, please do. Yours in sport, Belcoo O Raghallaigh Youth Development
