Catholic Schools Week Our school will join Catholic Schools across the nation to celebrate our Catholic Education during the week of January 30th through February 4th. A committee has been working hard to provide our students with a variety of activities during this special week. On Wednesday, February 2, we will celebrate our wonderful Earth with a special program, the Earth Dome, that will visit our school. In addition to this program, we are asking all students in Kindergarten through Grade Eight to complete a Recycle Project. Each student is asked to complete a project, art piece, game or any creative way of putting a household item to new use! All projects will be due in school on Tuesday, January 25th. Each project will be shared within the classroom. A winner from each grade level will be selected by creativity, usefulness and originality on February 2nd. Start now, encourage your child to RECYCLE, REUSE and RECREATE for Catholic Schools Week! After Christmas vacation, watch for more news from your child s classroom teacher as to suggestions, requirements as to projects. Many thanks for your support. Submissions received by 3:00 Thursday will be published in the Eaglet the following day. You can email information to saspublicrelations@hotmail.com or send it to the office marked Eaglet. When there is no school on a Friday, the Eaglet will go home on Thursday and the deadline would then be Wednesday at 3:00.
