Bellewood Country Club Dress Code Our dress code policy applies to all adults, children, and guests. Members are responsible for the attire of their children and their guests, and members should inform their guests of the dress code requirements before their arrival at the Club. Dress codes will be specified for all Club functions, which may include deviations from these policies; however, if ever in doubt about suitable attire for any specific event, or in any particular area of the Club, please feel free to call the Club. The Management Staff has been authorized by the ownership to notify members or their guests when their attire is not deemed consistent with our dress code policies. Golf Course Proper attire on our golf course, practice range and putting green is expected at all times. Proper attire includes collared golf shirts, turtlenecks, mock necks, (appropriate sleeveless tops for females), sweaters, jackets, wind shirts, slacks, golf skirts, golf skorts, golf shorts which are similar in style to walking or Bermuda shorts of an appropriate and tasteful length, and suitable golf footwear. All golf shoes shall have nonpenetrating spikes. Some clothing not permitted on the golf course, practice range, and putting green includes tee shirts, undershirts, athletic / sweatshirts, sweat suits, cutoffs, running shorts, short shorts, cargo shorts & pants, tennis attire, swimming attire, halter tops, tank tops, crop tops (no bare midriffs) and jean or denim material of any color. Shirts shall be tucked in at all times and all hats shall be worn bill forward. Players in noncompliance with the dress code will be requested to comply before use of the facilities. Main Dining, Private Dining Room, and Library Professional, Business Casual, Smart Denim (jeans), Shir t with Collar (Polo Shir ts ar e acceptable), Pr esentable Shoes. Clothing not per mitted includes Hoodies, flip-flops, t-shirts, yoga pants, and shorts. Jeans are permitted, except when a higher dress standard is set for a specific social event. Bar & Clubroom Professional, Business Casual, Jeans, Shirt with Collar (Polo Shirts are acceptable), Presentable Shoes. Tommy Bahama style shirts may be worn untucked. Clothing not permitted includes Hoodies, flip flops, t-shirts, athletic wear- sweatpants, yoga pants, and jerseys. Appropriate golf shorts are permitted. Jeans worn at the Club shall be appropriate. Appropriate jeans are defined as denim worn with the appropriate cut, in excellent repair, and consistent in color. Inappropriate denim is defined as denim worn or cut lower than the waist (baring one s midriff), tattered, frayed, patched, or otherwise in disrepair. This includes work denim such as bibs, painter s pants, cargo pants/shorts, and cutoffs. Swim attire is not permitted on the golf course, in the, or on the Patios. Swim Complex Proper swimming attire is required at the swim complex. Swim Complex Bar & Fire Pit Patio Pr ofessional, Business Casual, Pr oper Golf Attir e, Denim, and Pr oper Swim Attir e. Shir ts and Cover-Ups must be worn at the Outdoor Bar and Patio when seated at the bar or tables. Members and guests may walk up to the bar without shirts and cover ups to order beverages to be taken out onto the pool deck. Children are not permitted to be seated at the bar. Finally, we ask that our Members assume the responsibility to inform their Guests as to the contents of the Dress Code so that it does not fall solely upon the Staff to do so once the guests arrive at Bellewood Country Club.

Members may still play the golf course after 12:00 but it will be walking only (no pull carts, members must carry their bag) until April 2016. The Driving Range is closed on Mondays in the offseason. The Driving Range will be open Tuesday Sunday in the offseason weather depending, updates will be released if the Driving Range conditions change because of weather. Off-Season Club Rules Reminders Starting November 1 st we enter our Off-Season Club Rules at Bellewood. 1 st Tee Time is 9:00 Tuesday through Sunday in November (Frost and Weather permitting) Mondays are closed, members may walk and carry their clubs after 12:00. There will be no access to the Locker Room or Weekday Members are permitted to play on Weekends until April House Member weekend restrictions are over an may play at any time Weekend Guest restrictions are over and members may bring up to three guests at any time (Member Sponsored Unaccompanied groups still have to make Tee Times) Groups larger than 4 players are permitted BUT must let all play through them if they choose to play 5 or more GAP Score Posting Extended The posting season has been extended to November 14 th for the Philadelphia Section. Bellewood won the division for the third year in a row to make it to the finals! In the finals Bellewood squared up against Merion CC, Commonwealth National GC and Little Mill. Merion won the Playoffs in a tight race but it was a great effort by our players. Congrats on making to the final four!
