One block East of Town Square. The at Café Genevieve is so awesome and they have bent over backwards to please us in the past, so we will do it again! We will have a choice of three entrees. Dinner includes: starter, entrée and dessert. Because Café Genevieve is closing out their restaurant and making it available only to us and they are a bit more upscale, we will be paying the same rate as last year $35, which also includes tax and tip. Drinks are extra. By the way, they are also open for breakfast/brunch form 8am-3pm daily and happy hour 3-5:30 daily. Theme Party: The Wednesday night theme party is a tribute to our favorite Comedy Characters. Austin Powers, Saturday Night Live characters, Monty Python, and Dumb and Dumber. Whatever you can think of. Come as your favorite character from that group or theme and wear whatever costume you would like. Winter Sleigh Rides at the Elk Refuge The Elk Refuge is offering our members a $2 discount off the normal $20 price. Just mention you are with NAASF and bring your badge. Sleighs leave hourly, first come first serve. Horse-drawn rides onto the elk refuge where there are thousands of elk, allowing riders a unique wildlife viewing experience and an incredible opportunity for photography. Sleigh rides on the National Elk Refuge operate from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, including all weekends and holidays except for Christmas Day. The sleigh rides tickets are sold at the Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center, located at 532 North Cache Street, several blocks north of Jackson's Town Square. Visitors purchase their tickets at the Visitor Center and take a free shuttle bus to the sleigh boarding area three miles north of Jackson. Sleigh rides last approximately one hour, including the shuttle ride to and from the sleigh ride site. Accommodations for visitors with disabilities are available. Winter Visitor Center hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Sleigh rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are available but are not required. Reservations are requested for private tours and groups of 20 people or more. Appropriate dress for a sleigh ride includes a warm coat, hat, gloves, and warm boots. Surprisingly, the temperature can feel significantly colder on the sleigh compared to conditions in town. Chilling winds often blow up the valley, and snowstorms can move in quickly. By dressing in layers, sleigh riders can adjust to changes in the temperature. Rates Adults: $20 Children ages 5-12: $15 Children under 5: free Private Sleighs: $350 per sleigh, 16-18 people maximum.
