COLLEGES Brigham Young University - www.byuhockey.org The Cougars have a 2 game homestand this coming Thursday and Friday. Thursday January 14 the Cougars take on Cal-State Fullerton. On Friday, January 15 the Trojans of USC come to town. Saturday sees an away game against Utah Valley University. All games are at 7:30 pm at the Peaks Arena in Provo. January 22 the Cats take on UVU again in a 7:30 tilt. University of Northern Colorado comes to Salt Lake on January 29 in a 7:30 pm home game and the Cougars end the month against Utah in a 7:30 pm game at the Peaks. The Cougars are looking for game volunteers. Visit the Administration page on their website. University of Utah www.skatinutes.com The Utes play a couple games this weekend at the Park City arena. On Friday and Saturday, January 15 & 16, they take on Cal-State Fullerton. Friday s game starts at 5:30 and Saturday s game begins at 7:30 pm. On January 22 & 23 Mesa State comes to town for two games. Friday s game is at 9:30 and Saturday s game is at 7:30 pm. Both games at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex. Utah State www.usu.edu/hockey Thursday and Friday January 14 & 15, the Aggies are in Idaho and Eastern Washington respectively. On Saturday they take on San Jose State in the sunshine state. January 22 sees the Aggies traveling to Provo to take on Utah Valley. The Cats are at home January 29 taking on the Cats of Weber State. Northern Colorado visits Logan on January 30. Both game times are 7:15 pm at the Eccles Ice Center. Utah Valley University www.uvu.edu/clubs The program is searching for a new advisor. Weber State University www.weber.edu/hockey The Wildcats take on Utah Valley on January 15 at home and the USC Trojans at home on January 16. Both game times are 8:30 pm at the Ice Sheet in Ogden. WSU will be in San Jose on the 22 and 23 taking on the San Jose State Spartans. Back home on January 29 & 30 the Cats take on Utah State and Texas Tech, respectively, game times at 8:30 pm. On January 31 WSU goes up against Northern Colorado in an 11:00 am game at the Ice Sheet.

This seminar will provide information to parents regarding the process players, who want to move to the next level of play with the goal of eventually playing college hockey, will encounter. TRAVEL TEAM ORGANIZATIONS Chadders www.rmrenegades.com Tier 1 level programs for Midget players 18 and under, 16 and under and 14 and under Midget AAA team returned from Rochester, NY which was a venue for the North American Hockey Prospects League with a 3-2 record. Chadders defeated team S2, Milwaukee and Green Bay while losing to Lansing and San Jose. Tryout dates for the 2010-11 season is May 14-16. More info to follow at a later date. Golden Spike Jr. Wildcats www.goldenspikehockey.com Rocky Mountain Renegades www.rmrenegades.com Pee Wee AA team had a successful Holiday Winter Classic Tournament in Anaheim, CA going 2-1-1. The Renegades defeated the LA Hockey Club 4-0, Arapahoe 4-2, lost to the Orange County Hockey Club 3-1 and tying the LA Junior Kings 3-3 Squirt AA team went 3-1 in the Junior Ducks Winter Classic. The Renegades defeated the California Stars 7-0, the LA Hockey Club 5-0 and the San Diego Saints 10-0 while tying the Junior Ducks 3-3. Utah Jr. Grizzlies www.utahjuniorgrizzlies.com (aka WMAHA) Goalie clinic by Mark Sample of GDI will be Thursday, January 21 at the Cottonwood Ice Arena from 8:00-9:30 pm Grizz Cup tournament will be running January 15-18 with the Pee Wee & Bantam AA and Midget A level teams competing. January 29-31 the Grizz Cup continues with the Squirt A, Pee Wee A and Ban tam A teams playing. Overall there will be 32 teams and 650 players competing.
